This tutorial was written by me on 1 January 2009. Any similarities to other tutorials is purely coincidental.
Supplies Needed:
Tube of choice. I am using the stunning artwork of Olivia. I bought this tube when CILM was still open. You can find her at CDO now.
Scrapkit. I used the elegant kit Be Mine by Stacey's Designs. If you wish to purchase this kit, you can here. Thank you, Stacey!!
Template 92 made by me which you can download here.
Font of choice. I used Mea Culpa. (pay font)
Plugins:
Xero Filters - Porcelain
No other supplies needed

Ok! Let's get started! Open up my template. Duplicate by holding down shift + d. Close the original. Delete the credit info layer.
Highlight the dotted mess fill layer. Go to selections > select all. Selections > float. Selections > defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Don't resize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Go to selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard. Deselect (CTRL+D) Delete the black dotted mess layer.
Highlight the dotted mess layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Don't resize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow H and V 1, Opacity 60, Blur 1.00. Delete the black dotted mess layer.
Highlight the intertwined hearts fill 1 layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the scrapkit. Resize by 68%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Don't deselect! Open up your tube. Resize as necessary, bicubic. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Position to your liking within the selection. Hit delete and deselect. Give your tube layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 6.00. Delete the gray fill layer.
Repeat the above steps with the rest of the intertwined hearts fill layers.
Highlight the intertwined hearts frame 1 layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 68%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the paper frame a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 4.00. Delete the white frame.
Repeat the above steps with the rest of your intertwined hearts frame layers.
Highlight the oval of hearts layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 68%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard. Deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V -1, Opacity 60, Blur 2.00. Delete the gray oval of hearts layer.
Highlight the heart fill layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 68%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Delete the gray hearts fill layer.
Highlight the hearts frame layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize, 68%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Delete the gray heart frame layer.
Open up your tube. Resize as necessary, bicubic. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 12.00. Position to your liking. Duplicate your tube. Drag one of the tube layers below the paper heart frame. Highlight your paper heart frame. Select, float and defloat. Highlight your top tube layer. Grab your eraser tool, size 25, Opacity 100. Carefully erase parts of the top tube so it looks as if the bottom half of your tube is contained within the heart frame. (see my tag for reference) Deselect. Highlight your paper frame and give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 6.00.
Open up a curly ribbon of choice. Resize by 20%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 5.00. Duplicate the curly ribbon. Go to image > mirror. Duplicate the original ribbon 1x. Duplicate the mirrored ribbon 1x. Position the curly ribbons to your liking ont he intertwined heart frames.
Open up a ribbon of choice. Resize by 40%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Go to image > free rotate. Rotate left by 90.00, both boxes unchecked. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 5.00. Duplicate the ribbon. Go to image > flip. Drag both ribbon layers beneath your intertwined hearts and position as in my tag above.
Open up an eyelet ribbon of choice. Resize by 15%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 5.00. Position to your liking.
Open up a flower of choice. Resize by 20%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 5.00. Duplicate the flower. Go to image > mirror. Position them as in my tag above.
Add any other embellishments of your choosing. Hide your white background. Merge your visible layers together. Resize your merged layer by 90%, smartsize. Apply porcelain with the following settings:
Go to adjust > sharpness > unsharp mask. Apply with the following settings:
Radius - 5
Strength - 20
Clipping 1
Open up a Be Mine wordart. Resize by 25%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H 1, V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 1.00. Position to your liking.
Crop and resize to your liking.
Add your copyright info, watermark, and your text. Save as JPG or PNG.
