Always My Love

This tutorial was written on 2 January 2009. Any similarities to other tutorials is purely coincidental.
Supplies Needed:
Tube of choice. I am using the unique artwork of Anthony Guerra. I bought this tube when CILM was still open. You can fins his work at CDO now.
Scrapkit. I am using the richly colored kit Love Romance by Simply Irresistible Designz. If you wish to purchase this scrap, you can at Aussie Scraps Designs Store. Thank you, Nicole!!

White Flare Tube
Font of choice. I used Ginga which you can download here

Ok! Let's get started! Open up my template. Duplicate by holding down shift + d. Close the original. Delete te credit info layer.
Highlight the doodles layer. Go to selections > select all. Selections > float. Selections > defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Don't resize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Go to selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard. Deselect (CTRL+D). Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 2, Opacity 65, Blur 3.00. Delete the black doodles layer.
Highlight the hearts layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Don't resize and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 8.00. Delete the gray hearts layer.
Highlight the rectangle layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 68%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Delete the gray rectangle layer.
Highlight the rectangle stripes layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper that contrasts with the last one you used. Resize by 68%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 5.00. Delete the white stripes layer.
Open up your tube. Resize if necessary, bicubic. On your working image, highlight the paper rectangle. Select, float and defloat. Highlight your stripes layer. Copy and paste your tube onto your canvas. Position to your liking within the selection. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Don't deselect yet!
Open up the double ribbon from the kit. Resize by 45%, smartsize. Go to image > free rotate. Rotate by right by 90.00, both boxes unchecked. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Position to your liking. Hit delete and deselect. Give the ribbon a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 5.00.
Highlight your tube layer. Apply Xero Bad Dream with the following settings:
Change the blend mode of your tube to Hard Light. Give your tube a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 10.00.
Highlight your rectangle layer and give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 10.00.
Open up an envelope of choice from the kit. Resize by 25%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 5.00. Drag the envelope layer below your double ribbon layer. Position to your liking.
Open up a flowers of choice. Resize by 45%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give them a drop shadow of H and V 1, Opacity 70, Blur 2.00. Drag them beneath your envelope layer. Position to your liking.
Highlight your top layer. Open up a butterfly of choice from the kit. Resize by 65%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 2, Opacity 70, Blur 2.00. Duplicate the butterfly. Go to image > mirror. Position them to your liking.
Open up a satin rose of choice. Resize by 35%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 5.00. Duplicate the satin rose. Go to image > mirror. Position them to your liking.
Open up the lips from the kit. Resize by 65%, smartsize. Go to image > free rotate. Rotate right by 25.00, both boxes unchecked. Give them a drop shadow of H and V 2, Opacity 70, Blur 2.00. Duplicate the lips. Go to image > mirror. Position them to your liking.
Open up the love tags from the kit. Resize by 45%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give them a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 6.00. Position them to your liking.
Open up a satin bow of choice. Resize by 25%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 5.00. Position so it looks as if it is holding the tags in place.
Open up the box from the kit. Resize by 20%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Apply Mura Meister Copies with the following settings:
Resize the layer by 85%, smartsize. Grab your freehand selection tool, type - point to point, feather set at 0.00. Select around the cutoff boxes. Hit delete and deselect. Apply Xero Bad Dream with the same settings as before. Colorize the boxes to your liking. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 8.00. Duplicate the boxes. Go to image > mirror. Drag both boxes layers to right above your white background. Position as in my tag above.
Add any other embellishments of your choosing.
Hide your white background. Merge your visible layers together. Resize the merged layer by 90%, bicubic.
Highlight your white background. Open up a paper from the kit. Don't resize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Apply Vix's mask with the following settings:

Fit to Canvas
Hide all mask.
Delete the mask, answer yes and merge the group. Give the mask layer a drop shadow of H and V 2, Opacity 70, Blur 3.00. Duplicate the mask layer. Go to image > flip. Duplicate the mask again. Go to image > free rotate. Rotate right by 90.00, both boxes unchecked. Duplicate the rotated mask layer. Go to image > mirror. Position the mask layers as in my tag above.
Crop and resize to your liking.
Add your copyright info, watermark and your text. If you are not animating, save as JPG, or PNG.
If you are animating, grab your picture tube tool. Find your flare in your drop down menu and set the size to about 14. Highlight your top layer. Add a new raster layer. Place a flare where you would like. Copy merged. Open up animation shop. Paste as a new animation in AS.
Back to PSP. Duplicate the flare layer. Copy merged. Paste after frame 1 in AS.
Back to PSP. Duplicate the flare layer again. Copy merged. Paste after frame 2 in AS. Highlight frame 2. Copy. Highlight frame 3. Go to edit > paste after selected frame.
Select all frames (CTRL+A) Change the frame properties to 17.
Optimize and save as gif.
