Make A Wish

This tutorial was written by me on 5 January 2009. Any similarities to other tutorials is purely coincidental.
Supplies Needed:
Tube of choice. I am using the beautiful artwork of Zindy Nielsen. If you wish to use her artwork, you must purchase a license here.
Scrapkit. I am using the gorgeous scrap Winterluscious by Stacey's Designs. If you wish to purchase this lovely scrap, you can here. Thank you, Stacey!!
Template 96 made by me which you can download here.
UFMask20 by Sunf which you can download from her blog here.
Accents of choice. I used butterflies by Zindy Nielsen, which can be purchased here.
Font of choice. I used Albemarle Swash which you can download here.

Ok! Let's get started! Open up my template. Duplicate by holding shift + d. Close the original. Delete the credit info layer.
Highlight the dotted circles layer. Go to selections > select all. Selections > float. Selections > defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 68%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Go to selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard. Deselect (CTRL+D) Give the layer a drop shadow of H 1, V 0, Opacity 40, Blur 1.00. Delete the black dotted circles layer.
Highlight the dotted hearts layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 68%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H 1, V 0, Opacity 40, Blur 1.00. Delete the black dotted hearts layer.
Highlight the 2 hearts layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 68%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections >invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 8.00. Delete the black 2 hearts layer.
Highlight the 2 rectangles layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Don't resize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Givde the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 6.00. Delete the gray merged layer.
Highlight the middle rectangle layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 68%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Apply Xero Soft Mood with the following settings:
Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 4.00. Delete the dark gray middle rectangle layer.
Highlight the circle of hearts layer. Colorize to your liking. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 3.00.
Highlight the circle layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 68%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Apply Xero Soft Mood same settings as before. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 10.00. Delete the gray circle layer.
Open up your tube. Resize as necessary bicubic. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Apply Xero Duochrome with the following settings:
Apply Xero Soft Mood, same settings as before.
Highlight the frame fill layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 68%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Don't deselect!
Position your tube to your liking within the selection. Hit delete and deselect. Give your tube a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 8.00. Delete the gray frame fill layer.
Highlight the frame layer. Select, float and defloat. Add a new raster layer. Floodfill the new layer with a color of choice. Deselect. Apply Artistic Effect Drop with the following settings:
Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 5.00. Delete the gray frame layer.
Highlight your middle rectangle layer. Open up a braided ribbon of choice. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Go to image > free rotate. Rotate right by 90.00, both boxes unchecked. Use your deform tool so that it fits within the middle rectangle. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 5.00.
Open up a knotted bow of choice. Resize by 15%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 5.00. Duplicate the bow. Position them at the ends of the braided ribbon.
Open a heart chain of choice. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 5.00. Position behind the 2 hearts layer.
Highlight your white background. Open up a frame from the kit. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Grab your magic wand tool. Click inside the empty spaces of the frame. Go to selections > modify > expand by 3.
Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 68%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Drag the paper beneath your frame. Highlight your frame and give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 7.00. Merge your frame and paper layer together. Apply Eyecandy Nature Snow Drift with the following settings:
Duplicate. Go to image > mirror. Then, image > flip. Position them as in my tag above.
Add any other embellishments of your choosing.
Highlight your white background. Open up a paper from the kit. Don't resize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Apply UFMask20 with the following settings:
Source Luminance
Fit to Canvas
Hide all Mask.
Delete the mask, answer yes and merge the group. Give the mask a drop shadow of H and V 1, opacity 40, Blur 2.00.
Crop and resize to your liking.
Add your copyright info, watermark and your text. If you are not animating, save as JPG or PNG.
If you are animating, highlight your paper fill layer. Apply Constellation with the following settings:
Copy merged. Open up Animation Shop. Paste as a new animation in AS.
Back to Paint Shop Pro. Go to edit > undo constellation. Apply constellation again, but this time hit the random seed button. Copy merged and paste after current frame in AS.
Repeat the above steps 2 more times for a total of 4 frames.
Select all frames (CTRL+A) Change the frame properties to 15.
Optimize and save as gif.
