This tutorial was written by me on 31 October 2008. Any similarities to other tutorials is purely coincidental.
Supplies Needed:
Tube of choice. I am using the beautiful artwork of Zindy Nielsen. If you wish to use her artwork you must purchase a license here

Let's get started! Open up a new transparent image 650 x 650. Floodfill with white. Open up my frame. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Go to selections > select all. Selections > float. Defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the scrapkit. Resize by 69%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Go to selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard. Deselect (CTRL+D) Delete the gray frame.
Grab your magic wand tool, tolerance 30, feather set at 0. Click inside the empty part of the frame so there are marching ants outlining the inside of the frame. Go to selections > modify > expand by 4.00. Open up another paper from the kit. Resize by 69%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard. Do NOT deselect.
Open up your tube. Resize bicubic, if necessary. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Position to your liking within the frame. Hit delete on your keyboard. Deselect (CTRL+D) Give your tube a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 7.00. Drag your frame to the top of your layer palette. Give your frame a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 5.00. Hide your white background, and merge your visible layers.
Open up a mat of choice from the kit. Resize by 45%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Open up a lace of choice. Resize by 45%, smartsize. Give your lace a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 35, Blur 4.00. Position your lace to your liking on your mat. Highlight your mat layer. Select, float and defloat. Highlight your lace layer. Selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard. Deselect. Give your mat a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 5.00. Hide your frame layer and your white background. Merge your lace and mat together. Duplicate your mat layer. On your duplicated mat layer go to image > flip. Drag both mat layers below your heart frame layer and position them to your liking (or see my tag for reference)
Open up a poppy of choice. Resize by 90%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Go to image > free rotate. Rotate left by 45.00, both boxes unchecked. Go to adjust > sharpness > unsharp mask. Apply with radius 5, strength 15, clipping 1. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 5.00. Duplicate the poppy. On the duplicated layer, go to image > mirror. Then, image > flip. Position both flowers to your liking. (or see my tag for reference)
Highlight your top layer. Open up a tiebow of choice. Resize by 30%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 35, Blur 4.00. Position to your liking on the frame. Grab your eraser tool, size 10, opacity 50. Zoom in REALLY close. Carefully erase a small part of the tie bow so it looks as if it is hanging off the frame (see my tag for reference)
Open up Calla Lilies of choice. Resize by 40%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Position them to your liking. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 4.00.
Open up a bow of choice. Resize by 30%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it the same drop shadow you gave your calla lilies. Duplicate. Position both bows to your liking.
Open up a flower of choice. Resize by 20%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it the same drop shadow you gave your bows. Position to your liking.
Add any other embellishments of your choosing.
Hide your white background and merge your visible layers. On your merged layer, apply xero > porcelain with the following settings:
Go to adjust > sharpness > unsharp mask. Apply with radius 5, strength 15, clipping 1.
Highlight your white background layer. Open up a paper of choice. Resize by 80%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Apply Vix's mask, source luminance, Fit to Canvas, hide all mask. Delete the mask on your layer palette. Answer yes to the popup box and merge the group. Resize the mask layer by 90%, smartsize. Position to your liking. Give the mask a drop shadow of H 1, V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 1.00.
Crop and resize to your liking. Add your copyright info, watermark and your text. If you are not animating you are done!
If you are, highlight your mask layer. Go to adjust > add/remove noise > add noise. Apply with Random checked, Monochrome checked, and a noise value of 23. Copy merged.
Open up Animation Shop and paste as a new animation. Back to PSP. Go to Edit > Undo add noise. Apply noise again, but this time change the noise value to 31. Copy merged. Paste after your current frame in AS.
Back to PSP. Undo. Apply noise, noise value set at 40. Copy merged. Paster after frame 2 in AS.
Back to PSP. Undo. Apply noise, noise value set at 29. Copy merged. Paste after frame 3 in AS.
Back to PSP. Undo. Apply noise, value set ar 18. Copy merged. Paste after frame 4 in AS.
You should have a total of 5 frames.
Optimize and save as gif.
