Strawberry Delight

This tutorial was written by me on 14 April 2009. Any similarities to other tutorials is purely coincidental.
Supplies Needed:
Tube of choice. I am using the awesome artwork of Rion Vernon (Pinuptoons). I purchased this tube when CILM was still open. You can get his art from CDO now.

Font of choice. I used Heather which you can download here.
Plugins:
Xenofex 2 - Constellation (only if you are animating)
Animation Shop

Ok! Let's get started! Open up a new transparent image 800(w) x 700(h). Floodfill with white.
Open up the Garden Fence from the kit. Resize by 60%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Position it towards the bottom of your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60. Blur 5.00.
Open up a blossom branch of choice from the kit. Resize by 35%, smartsize. Position it at the right end of the fence so that the end of the branch is lined up with the bottom of the fence. Give it a drop shadow of H 2, V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 2.00. Duplicate. Go to image > mirror. Posititon the duplicated branch at the other side of the fence.
Open up a brad of choice from the kit. Resize by 15%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Position it on the left picket next to the branch. give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 4.00. Duplicate. Go to image > mirror. Position the duplicated brad on the picket next to the right blossom branch.
Open up a bow of choice. Resize by 8%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 3.00. Duplicate. Go to image > mirror. Position the bows right above the brads.
Open up the hanging basket from the kit. Resize by 30%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 3.00. Position in the middle of the fence.
Open up a bow ribbon of choice. Resize by 40%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 6.00. Position it in the middle of the fence.
Open up Flower pot 1 from the kit. Reswize by 30%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H 2, V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 3.00. Duplicate. Go to image > mirror. Position the flower pots at the ends of the bow ribbon.
Open up 2 garden tools of choice. Resize them by 30%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give them both a drop shadow of H 1, V 1, Opacity 50, Blur 2.00. Mirror one of them. Position them so that they are crossed in front of the left flower pot.
. Open up the garden bucket. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give the bucket a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 5.00. Open up strawberries of choice. Resize by 10%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Position the strawberries so that they look as if they have been collected in the bucket.
Open up another garden tool of choice. Resize by 25%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H 2, V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 2.00, Position in from the of the bucket.
Highlight your white background. Open up the garden shed from the kit. Resize by 45%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Position as in my tag above. Give it a drop shadow of H 3, V -2, Opacity 70, Blur 6.00.
Open up Tree 3 from the kit. Resize by 70%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H -2, V -1, Opacity 60, Blur 2.00. Position as in my tag above.
Open up 2 white flowers of choice. Resize one by 10%, and the other by 15%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give them both a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 3.00. Duplicate them as many times as you like to decorate the tree.
Open up strawberry plant 3. Resize by 40%, smartsize. Give it a drop shadow of H and V0, Opacity 60, Blur 4.00. Duplicate. Go to image > mirror. Duplicate each plant 1 time for a total of 4. Position them behind the gate as in my tag above.
Open up Flower Pot 2 from the kit. Resize by 30%, smartsize. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 3.00. Position in the middle of your tag.
Open up your tube. Resize as necessary, bicubic. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 70, Blur 10.00. Position to your liking.
Highlight your white background. Change your background to color #8daff. Add a new raster layer. Floodfill the new raster layer with your background color. Apply Becky Mask 23 with the following settings:
Source Luminance
Fit to Canvas
Hide all Mask
Delete the mask, answer yes, and merge the group. Move the mask so it looks like a "sky" behind the tag.
Crop and resize to your liking.
Add your copyright info, watermark and your text. If you are not animating, save as JPG or PNG.
If you are animating, highlight your sky layer. Apply Constellation with the following settings:
Copy merged. Open up Animation Shop. Paste as a new animation in AS.
Back to PSP. Go to edit > undo constellation. Apply Constellation again, same settings, except this time hit the random seed button. Copy merged and paste after your current frame in AS.
Repeat the above steps 3 more times for a total of 5 frames.
Select all frames (CTRL+A). Change the frame properties to 13.
Optimize and save as gif.
