Sexy Season

This tutorial was written by me on 29 November. Any similarities to other tutorials is purely coincidental.
Supplies Needed:
Tube of choice. I am using the artwork of Disdane. It was a 2008 xmas gift from MPT. I don't know where you can his art now, so just use a tube you like instead.

Font of Choice. I used Gwendolyn (pay font)

No other supplies needed

Let's get started! Open up my template. Duplicate by holding down shift + d. Close the original. Delete the credit info layer.
Highlight the hat circle layer. Go to selections > select all. Selections > float. Selections > defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 68%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Go to selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard. Deselect. (CTRL+D) Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 8.00. Delete the black hat circle layer.
Highlight the rounded rectangle 1 layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 68%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 10.00. Delete the white rounded rectangle.
Highlight the rounded rectangle 2 layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 68%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Delete the gray rounded rectangle layer.
Highlight the circle layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 68%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 6.00. Delete the gray circle.
Open up your tube. Resize as necessary bicubic. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 10.00. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Position to your liking within the second rounded rectangle.
Highlight the rounded rectangle 2 layer. Select, float and defloat. Go to selections > modify > expand by 1.00. Selections > invert. Highlight your tube layer. Grab your eraser tool, size 25, Opacity 100. Erase any parts of the tube you don't want hanging out of the rounded rectangle. Deselect.
Highlight the rounded rectangle 2 layer and give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 8.00.
Open up a wrap of choice from the kit. Resize by 30%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 5.00. Duplicate the wrap. Go to image > mirror. Position the 2 wraps at the bottom of your rounded rectangles. (see my tag for reference)
Open up a Christmas bow that matches the wraps. Resize by 40%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 5.00. Position where the 2 wraps meet.
Open up a flower of choice. Resize by 30%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 5.00. Duplicate the flower. Go to image > mirror. Position the flowers to your liking.
Open up an xmas bow of choice. Resize by 25%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 4.00. Duplicate the bow. Go to image > mirror. Position them to your liking.
Open up a christmas bow of choice. Resize by 25%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 4.00. Duplicate and position and position them to your liking.
Open up the xmas tree ornament. Resize by 15%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 4.00. Duplicate. Go to image > mirror. Position them to your liking.
Highlight your white background. Open up a tree of choice. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 8.00. Duplicate the tree and mirror. Position as in my tag above.
Add any other embellishments of your choosing.
Hide your white background and merge your visible layers. Resize your merged layer by 95%, bicubic. Go to adjust > sharpness > unsharp mask. Apply with:
Radius 5
Strength 10
clipping 1
Highlight your white background. Open up the iced candy cane. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Apply mura meister copies with the following settings:
Give this layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 20, Blur 8.00.
Crop and resize to your liking.
Add your copyright info, watermark and text.
If you are not animating, save as JPG or PNG.
If you are animating, highlight your candy canes layer. Go to adjust > add/remove noise > add noise. Apply Noise:
Random checked
Monochrome checked
Value 20
Copy merged. Open up Animation Shop. Paste as a new animation in AS.
Back to PSP. Go to edit > undo noise. Apply noise again, but change the value to 30. Copy merged and paste after your frame 1 in AS.
Back to PSP. Edit > undo noise. Apply noise, but change the value to 40. Copy merged and paste after frame 2 in AS.
Back to PSP. Edit > undo noise. Apply noise changing the value to 33. Copy merged. Paste after frame 3 in AS.
Optimize and save as gif.
