Sexy Devil

This tutorial was written by me on 14 May 2009. Any similarities to other tutorials is purely coincidental.
Supplies Needed:
Tube of choice. I am using the sexy artwork of Keith Garvey. I purchased this tube when he was still with MPT. You can now purchase his art at PSP Tubes Emporium.

Font of choice. I used Resident Evil, which can be downloaded from here.

Ok! Let's get started! Open up my template. Duplicate by holding down shift + d. Close the original. Delete the credit info layer and the heart layer.
Highlight the white background layer. Add a new raster layer. Highlight the checkered circle layer. Go to selections > select all. Selections > float. Selections > defloat. Highlight the new raster layer. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 75%, smartsize. Copy. Paste into selection. Deselect. (CTRL + D). Highlight the checkered circle layer. Change the blend mode to Overlay. Merge the paper circle and the checkered circle layers together. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 80, Blur 11.00.
Highlight the thick rectangle layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 75%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Go to selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard. Deselect. Apply Gradient Glow, with a color of choice ( I used white) with the following settings:
Repeat. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 70, Blur 6.00. Delete the black thick rectangle layer.
Highlight the middle rectangle layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 75%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Oapcity 70, Blur 5.00. Delete the gray middle rectangle layer.
Highlight the 2 rectangles layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 75%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Apply Gradient Glow, using the same color and settings as before. (only one time though) Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Oapcity 65, Blur 5.00. Delete the gray 2 rectangles layer.
Highlight the rectangles fill layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 70%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 2, Opacity 65, Blur 3.00. Delete the gray rectangles fill layer.
Highlight the burnt half circles layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 70%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Dont' deselect yet.
Open up the Chainlink fence from the kit. Resize by 70%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Hit delete. Deselect.
Highlight the paper burnt half circles layer and give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 80, Blur 10.00. Delete the gray burnt half circles layer.
Highlight the spiky center layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 50%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Don't deselect.
Open up a tag belt of choice from the kit. Resize by 35%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Hit delete. Deselect. Give the tag belt a drop shadow of H and V 0, Oapcity 65, Blur 5.00. Highlight the paper spiky center. Apply Xero Bad Dream XL with the following settings:
Now, apply Gradient Glow, same settings as before, 2x. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 75, Blur 8.00. Delete the gray spiky center layer.
Highlight the feedback hearts layer. Drag it beneath your spiky center layer. Select, float and defloat. Add a new raster layer. Floodfill the new layer with a color of choice. Deselect. Apply L & K Pia with the following settings:
Apply Gradient Glow, same settings as before. Now apply Xero Filters Soft Mood XL with the following settings:
Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 5.00. Delete the black feedback hearts layer.
Highlight the thick rectangle layer. Open up a chainlinked hearts of choice. Resize by 85%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Position as in my tag above. Give them a drop shadow of H 2, V 0, Oapcity 70, Blur 3.00.
Open up a stapled flower of choice. Resize by 35%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Go to image > free rotate. Rotate left by 25.00, both boxes unchecked. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 8.00. Position at the bottom towards the left of the paper/checkered, merged circle. Duplicate. Go to image > mirror. Duplicate the mirrored flower. Go to image > flip. Duplicate the flipped flower. Go to image > mirror. Position them as in my tag above.
Highlight your top layer. Open up a Heart Dangly of choice. Resize by 35%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H -3, V -1, Opacity 65, Blur 4.00. Duplicate. Go to image > mirror. Positoin as in my tag above.
Add any other embellishments of your choosing.
Hide your white background. Merge your visible layers together. Resize your merged layer by 85%, bicubic.
Highlight your white background. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 90%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Apply WSL Mask 150 with the following settings:
Source Luminance
Fit to Canvas
Hide all mask
Delete the mask, answer yes and merge the group. Duplicate the mask layer. Merge the 2 mask layers together. Give the merged mask layer a drop shadow of H-3, V -2, Opacity 60, Blur 4.00. Center behind your merged tag layer.
Highlight your top layer. Open up your tube. Resize as necessary, bicubic. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give your tube a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 75, Blur 10.00. Position to your liking.
Crop and resize to your liking.
Add your copyright info, watermark, and text. If you are not animating, save as JPG or PNG.
If you are animating, merge all of your layers together. Copy. Open up Animation Shop. Paste as a new animation in AS. Duplicate until you have a total of 5 frames.
Open up the fire MNG file. Select all frames (CTRL + A). Copy.
Highlight your tag animation. Select all frames. (CTRL +A) Go to edit > paste into selected frame. Position the fire animation to your liking. Left click your mouse.
Change the frame properties to 14.
Optimize and save as gif.
