This tutorial was written by me on 27 December 2008. Any similarities to other tutorials is purely coincidental.
Supplies Needed:
3 tubes of choice. I am using the awesome artwork of Rion Vernon. I bought this tube when CILM was still open. You can his work at CDO now.
Scrapkit. I am using the colorful kit Super Sassy by Sarah of Pimp My Tags. If you wish to purchase this cheerful kit, you can here. Thank you, Sarah!
Template 85 made by me which you can download here.
Font of choice. I am using Heather, which you can download here.
Plugins:
Xero Filters - Bad Dream
Penta Filters - Dot and Cross
FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss
Eyecandy 5 Nature - Drip
Animation Shop (opt)
No other supplies needed

Let's get started! Open up my template. Duplicate by holding down shift + d. Delete the credit info layer.
Highlight the oval layer. Go to selections > select all. Selections > float. Selections > defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 79%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Go to selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard. Deselect (CTRL+D) Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 12.00. Delete the gray oval layer.
Open up a paper peice of choice from the kit. Resize by 65%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Oapcity 65, Blur 5.00. Duplicate the paper peice. Go to image > flip. Position the papers in the center of your oval.
Open up a word art 1 or 2 from the kit. Resize by 25%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H 1, V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 2.00. Position it on the top paper peice.
Highlight the rectangle layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 79%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 10.00. Delete the dark gray rectangle layer.
Highlight the ovals layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit and resize by 79%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 5.00. Delete the gray ovals layer.
Highlight the stripe 1 layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 79%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H -2, V -2, Opacity 65, Blur 3.00. Delete the black stripe 1 layer.
Highlight the stripe 2 layer. Select, float and defloat. Copy and paste the same paper you just used. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H 2, V 2, Opacity 65, Blur 3.00. Delete the black strip 2 layer.
Highlight the stripe 3 layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 79%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Hit delete and deselect. Give it a drop shadow of H -2, V -2, Opacity 65, Blur 3.00. Delete the black stripe 3 layer.
Highlight the stripe 4 layer. Select, float and defloat. Copy and paste the paper you just used onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H 2, V 2, Opacity 65, Blur 3.00. Delete the stripe 4 layer.
Highlight the star 1 layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 79%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Do NOT deselect!
Open up your first tube. Resize as necessary, bicubic. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Position to your liking within the selection. Hit delete and deselect. Change the blend mode of the tube to Luminance (Legacy) Give the tube a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 8.00.
Highlight the paper star layer and give it a drop shadow of H and V 4, Opacity 60, Blur 8.00. Give it another drop shadow of H and V -4, Opacity 60, Blur 8.00. Delete the gray star 1 layer.
Highlight the star 2 layer and repeat all the same steps you did with star 1, using a different tube.
Highlight your white background. Open up a flower from the kit. Don't resize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Give the flower a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 8.00. Duplicate the flower 3x for a total of 4, and position them as in my tag above.
Open up the paper strip from the kit. Resize by 45%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 5.00. Duplicate the paper strip. Go to image > mirror. Then, image > flip. Position them as in my tag above.
Highlight your ovals layer. Open up frame 5 from the kit. Resize by 45%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Position it as in my tag above. Grab your magic wand tool. Click inside the empty spaces of the frame (don't forget the little spaces!!) Go to selections > modify > expand by 2.00. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 50%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Position within the selection. Selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard and deselect. Drag your paper layer beneath the frame layer. Apply Xero Bad Dream to the paper with the following settings:
Highlight the frame layer and give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 6.00. Duplicate the frame layer. Go to image > mirror. Duplicate the paper layer. Go to image > mirror. Position them as in my tag above.
Add any other embellishments of your choosing.
Open up your main tube. Resize as necessary, bicubic. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 12.00.
Hide your white background and merge your visible layers. Resize your merged layer by 85%, smartsize.
Unhide and highlight your white background. Open up wordart 4 from the kit. Resize by 85%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H 1, V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 2.00. Duplicate the wordart layer. Position them as in my tag above. Hide your white background and your merged layer and merge your 2 word art layers together.
Duplicate the word art layer. On the bottom layer, go to adjust > blur > gaussian blur. Apply with a radius of 15. Apply Penta Filters to the blurred layer with the following settings:
Apply FM Tile Tools Blend Emboss with the default settings.
Duplicate the merged layer that has your tube. On the bottom layer, apply gaussian blur, same settings as before. Apply dot and cross, same settings. Apply FM Tile Tools Blend Emboss, same settings. Make sure both blurred layers are below your not blurred layers.
Crop and resize to your liking.
Add your copyright info, watermark, and text. If you are not animating, save as JPG or PNG.
If you are animating, highlight your unblurred, word art layer. Apply Eyecandy 5 Nature Drip with the following settings (make sure you click the Melt tab, and change all number values to 0)
Copy merged. Open up Animation Shop. Paste as a new animation in AS.
Back to PSP. Go to edit > undo > drip. Apply Drip again, but this time hit the random seed button. Copy merged and paste after your current frame in AS.
Repeat the above steps 3 more times for a total of 5 frames.
Select all frames (CTRL+A) Change the frame properties to 18.
Optimize and save as gif.
