Pink Party

This tutorial was written by me on 29 January 2009. Any similarities to other tutorials is purely coincidental.
Supplies Needed:
2 tubes of choice. I am using the stunning artwork of Jennifer Janesko. I bought this tube when CILM was still open. You can find her work at CDO now.
Scrap kit. I am using the elegant kit Victorian Valentine by Baby Cakes Scraps. If you wish to purchase this kit, you can here. Thank you, Lynne!
Template 113 made by me which you can download here.
Font of choice. I used Mr. Blaketon. (pay font)
Plugins:
Eyecandy 5 Impact - Gradient Glow
Xenofex 2 - Constellation
Animation Shop (opt)
No other supplies needed

Ok! Let's get started! Open up my template. Duplicate by holding down shift + d. Close the original. Delete the credit info layer.
Highlight the bracket 1 layer. Go to selections > select all. Selections > float. Selections > defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 74%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Go to selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard. Deselect (CTRL+D). Apply Gradient Glow with the following settings (choose a color that will match your tag):
Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 75, Blur 3.00. Delete the dark gray bracket 1 layer.
Highlight the bracket 2 layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice. Resize by 74%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Deselect. Apply gradient glow, same settings. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 75, Blur 2.00. Delete the gray bracket 2 layer.
Highlight the circle layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 74%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Apply gradient glow, same settings as before. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 70, Blur 4.00. Delete the white circle layer.
Highlight the heart fill layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 74%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Do not deselect.
Open up first tube of choice. Resize as necessary, bicubic. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Position to your liking within the selection. Hit delete. Change the blend mode of the tube to Overlay. Delete the gray heart fill layer.
Highlight the heart frame layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 74%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Apply Gradient Glow, same settings as earlier. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 70, Blur 3.00.
Open up the glitter bow from the kit. Resize by 15%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give the bow a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 4.00. Duplicate the bow. Go to image > mirror. Position the bows to your liking.
Open up a flower from the kit. Resize by 15%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 4.00. Duplicate the flower. Position them to your liking.
Highlight your white background. Open up the rose frame from the kit. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 8.00. Center behind your tag.
Highlight your white background. Open up the bcs flowers. Resize by 32%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Go to image > free rotate. Rotate right by 90.00, both boxes unchecked. Apply Mura Meister Copies with the following settings:
Resize the layer by 95%, smartsize.
Highlight your top layer. Open up your tube. Resize as necessary, bicubic. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 10.00. Position to your liking.
Add any other embellishments of your choosing.
Crop and resize to your liking.
Add your copyright info, watermark and text. If you are not animating, save as JPG or PNG.
If you are animating, highlight the encircled flowers layer. Apply Xenofex Constellation with the following settings:
Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 1, Opacity 35, Blur 1.00. Copy merged. Paste as a new animation in AS.
Back to PSP. Go to edit > undo drop shadow. Edit > undo constellation. Apply Constellation again, but this time hit the random seed button. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 1, Opacity 35, Blur 1.00.
Repeat the above step one more time for a totoal of 3 frames.
Optimize and save as gif.
