 This tutorial was written by me on 29 January 2009. Any similarities to other tutorials is purely coincidental. Supplies Needed: Tube of choice. I am using the amazing artwork of Dominic Marco. I bought this tube when CILM was still open. You can find his art at his store here now. Scrapkit. I am using My Kuuipo by Alane. If you wish to purchase this sweetheart of a kit, you can here. Thank you, Alane!! Template 112 made by me which you can download here. Mask by Becky. Unfortunately, her site is now close. :-( Font of choice. I used Sweetheart Script (pay font) Plugins: Eyecandy 5 Nature - Fire Animation Shop (opt) Supplies HERE *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Ok! Let's get started! Open up my template. Duplicate by holding down shift + d. Close the original. Delete the credit info layer. Highlight the skewed rectangle layer. Go to selections > select all. Selections > float. Selections > defloat. Open up a paper of choice. Resize by 16%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Go to selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard. Deselect (CTRL+D) Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 70, Blur 8.00. Delete the black skewed rectangle layer. Highlight the half x layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 16%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 6.00. Delete the gray half x layer. Highlight the circle layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 16%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 8.00. Delete the gray circle layer. Highlight the heart 1 layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 16%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 5.00. Delete the gray heart 1 layer. Highlight the heart 2 layer. Repeat all the same steps you did with the heart 1 layer. Highlight the doodle deco layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize, 16%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. GIve the layer a drop shadow of H 2, V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 3.00. Delete the gray doodle deco layer. Open up the love birds from the kit. Resize by 5%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give the birds a drop shadow of H 2, V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 2.00. Position to your liking on the circle. Open up a heart tag of choice. Resize by 15%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 5.00. Position in between the 2 template hearts. Open up a word art of choice. Resize by 20%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H 2, V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 2.00. Position it in the center of the heart tag. Highlight your white background. Open up some doodles of choice. Resize them to your liking. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give them a drop shadow of H 2, V 1, Opacity 65, Blur 2.00. Position the doodles to your liking. Highlight your top layer. Open up your tube. Resize as necessary, bicubic. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give your tube a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 10.00. Position to your liking. Hide your white background. Merge your visible layers. Resize by 85%, bicubic. Highlight your white background. Open up a paper of choice. Resize by 20%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Apply Becky Mask 009 with the following settings: Source Luminance Fit to Canvas Hide all mask Delete the mask. Answer yes to the pop up box. Merge the group. Crop and resize to your liking. Add your copyright info, watermark, and your text. If you are not animating, save as JPG or PNG. If you are animating, highlight your mask layer. Apply Fire with the following settings: (use colors that match your tag)  Give the mask layer a drop shadow of H 2, V 0, Opacity 40, Blur 2.00. Copy merged. Open up Animation Shop. Paste as a new animation in AS. Back to Paint Shop Pro. Go to edit > undo drop shadow. Edit > undo fire. Apply fire again, but this time hit the random seed button. Give the layer a drop shadow of H 2, V 0, Opacity 40, Blur 2.00. Copy merged. Paste after your current frame in AS. Repeat the above steps 3 more times for a total of 5 frames. Select all frames. (CTRL+A) Change the frame properties to 13. Optimize and save as gif. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial! If you have any questions, just give me a shout. |
