Magical Night

This tutorial was written by me on 27 October 2008. Any similarities to other tutorials is purely coincidental.
Supplies Needed:
3 tubes of choice. I am using the adorable work of Suzanne Woolcott. If you wish to use her artwork, you must purchase a license here
Scrapkit. I used the fantastical scrapkit Sinful Indulgence by Scraps by Jessica. You can purchase this beautiful kit here Thank you Jessica!
Cloud Castle by Rainbow Coffi
Mask by Becky. Unfortunately, her site is now closed. :-(
Font of choice. I used MC Twinkle Star which you can download here
Plugins
Let's begin! Open up a new transparent image 650 x 650. Floodfill with white. Open up the bracket from the kit. Resize by 80%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas.
Grab your magic wand tool, tolerance set to 30, feather 0.00. Click inside the empty part of the bracket. Go to Selections > Modify > Expand by 5.00.
Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 80%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Go to selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard. Deselect. Give your bracket a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 8.00. Drag your paper layer beneath your bracket.
Open up frame 4 from the kit. Resize by 75%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Position to your liking on top of the bracket. Grab your magic wand tool, same settings as before and click inside the empty spaces of the frames. (you may have to use your freehand selection tool to get the smaller spaces. :-)) Go to selections > modify > expand by 4.00. Open up a sparkly paper of choice. Paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Go to selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard. Do NOT deselect.
Open up paper 5 from the kit. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Hit delete on your keyboard. Change the blend mode of this layer to Hard Light. Drag your frame above both paper layers.
Open up one of your tubes. Resize, bicubic, if necessary. Grab your magic wand tool (same settings as before) and click inside the left frame. Go to selections > modify > expand by 3.00. Copy and paste your tube onto your canvas. Position to your liking within the selection. Go to selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard. Deselect.
Give your tube a drop shadow of H and Vo 0, Opacity 60, Blur 6.00. Change the blend mode to Luminance (Legacy) Lower the opacity to about 75%.
Repeat the same steps above with another tube and in the right frame.
Click inside the middle frame of your frame layer. Open up the Rainbow Coffi castle. Resize by 30%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Position to your liking within the selection. Go to selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard. Deselect. Give the castle the same drop shadow you gave your tubes.
Open up a bottle fairy dust of choice. Resize by 60%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 5.00. Duplicate. Position them to your liking.
Open up a rope heart of choice. Resize by 30%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it the same drop shadow you gave your bottle of fairy dust. Position to your liking.
Open up the butterfly doodle from the kit. Resize by 35%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Give it the same drop shadow you gave the rope heart. Duplicate and position them to your liking.
Add any other embellishments that you like (there are sooo many to choose from!)
Highlight your white background. Open up a doodle of choice from the kit. Resize by about 70%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Duplicate as many times as you want and position to your liking.
Highlight your white background layer again. Open up a paper of choice. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Apply the Becky mask, fit to layer. Delete the mask, answer yes and merge the group. Resize the mask by 95%, smartsize. Position to your liking and give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 25, Blur 10.00
Open up your main tube. Resize if necessary, bicubic. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 8.00. Position to your liking.
Crop and resize to your liking. Add your copyright info, text and watermark. Merge all of your visible layers together.
Apply VM Natural Sparkle with the following settings:
Copy. Open up Animation Shop. Paste as a new animation.
Back to PSP. Go to Edit > Undo Sparkle. Apply sparkle again but this time slide the random seed button. Copy, and paste after the current frame in AS.
Repeat the above step one more time for a total of 3 frames.
Optimize and save as gif.
