This tutorial was written by me on 5 February 2009. Any similarities to other tutorials is purely coincidental.
Supplies Needed:
Tube of choice. I am using the fantastical artwork of Zindy Nielsen. If you wish to use her artwork, you must purchase a license here.
Scrap kit. I am using the lovely scrap, Bugs and Kisses by Queenbrat Designs. I also used a freebie paper pack add on. You can purchase the kit, and get the free paper pack here. Thank you!!

Diamond Tube
Font of choice. I used AL Afternoon Delight which you can download here.
Plugins:
Eyecandy 5 Nature - Corona
Xenofex 2 - Constellation

Ok! Let's get started! Open up my template. Duplicate by holding down shift + d. Close the original. Delete the credit info layer.
Highlight the lace layer. Go to selections > select all. Selections > float. Selections > defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 85%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Go to selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard. Deselect (CTRL+D) Apply Corona with the following settings:
Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 70, Blur 6.00. Delete the gray lace layer.
Highlight the scalloped circle layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 85%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Don't deselect yet.
Open up a ribbon of choice from the kit. Resize by 35%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Position to your liking within the selection. Hit delete. Deselect. Give the ribbon a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Bur 5.00.
Highlight the paper scalloped circle. Apply Corona, same settings as before. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 70, Blur 5.00. Delete the dark gray scalloped circle layer.
Highlight the circles layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 85%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Deselect. Give the layer a dro shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 75, Blur 5.00. Delete the black circles layer.
Highlight the bracket layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 82%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Don't deselect!
Open up the Sweet Amorphia flowers. Grab your freehand selection tool. Select around the one you would like to use. Copy. Paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Position to the left of the bracket. Hit delete. Don't deselect yet!
Open up your tube. Mirror your tube, and resize as necessary, bicubic. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Position to your liking within the selection. Hit delete and deselect. Give your tube a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 5.00. Change the blend mode of the tube to Hard Light. Highlight the paper bracket. Apply Corona, same settings as earlier. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 5.00. Delete the gray bracket layer.
Highlight the sweet amorphia flower. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 1, Opacity 65, Blur 1.00. Duplicate. Go to image > mirror.
Open up the Love Note from the kit. Resize by 30%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 8.00. Position it to your liking beneath the ribbon.
Highlight the dotted lines layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 82%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 1, Opacity 50, Blur 1.00. Delete the gray dotted lines layer.
Open up a bow from the kit. Resize by 25%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 4.00. Position it at the top point of the bracket so it looks as if it is holding the bracket in place. Duplicate the bow. Go to image > mirror. Then, image > flip. Position the duplicated bow at the bottom point of the bracket.
Open up the diamond. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Duplicate the diamond 3x for a total of 4. Position them underneath the rings of the bows.
Open up button 5 from the kit. Resize by 50%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 4.00. Position to your liking.
Open up a round paper from the kit. Resize by 30%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 55, Blur 5.00. Duplicate it 6x for a total of 7. Position them beneath the lace layer as in my tag above.
Highlight your white background. Open up a flower doodle of choice. Resize it by 35%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Apply Mura Miester Copies with the following settings:
HIghlight your top layer. Open up your tube. Resize as necessary, bicubic. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Apply Xero Porcelain with the following settings:
Go to adjust > sharpen > unsharp mask. Apply with:
Radius - 5
Strength - 20
Clipping - 1
Give your tube a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 11.00. Position to your liking.
Add any other embellishments of your choosing.
Crop and resize to your liking.
Add your copyright info, watermark, and your text. If you are not animating, save as JPG or PNG.
If you are animating, highlight the encircled doodle layer. Apply Constellation with the following settings:
Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 1, Opacity 35, Blur 1.00. Highlight the dotted lines layer. Apply Constellation with the same settings. Copy merged. Open up Animation Shop. Paste as a new animation in AS.
Back to Paint Shop Pro. Go to edit > undo constellation. Edit > undo layer selection. Edit > undo drop shadow. Edit > undo constellation. On the encircled doodle layer, apply constellation again, but this time hit the random seed button. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 1, Opacity 35, Blur 1.00. Highlight the dotted lines layer and apply constellation. Copy merged and paste after your current frame in AS.
Repeat the above steps 2 more times for a total of 4 frames.
Optimize and save as gif.
