PostHeaderIcon Love and Kisses

This tutorial was written by me on 23 September 2008.  Any similarities to other tutorials is purely coincidental. 
 
Supplies Needed: 
 
2 tubes of choice.  I am using the artwork of Irene Shpak.  I bough this tube when she was still with MPT.   I don't know hwhere you can find her work now, so just use a tube you like instead.
 
Scrapkit.   I am using Love and Kisses by Baby Cakes Scraps.  If you wish to purchase this lovely scrapkit you can at her store here.  Don't forget to visit her blog for wonderful freebies!!
 
Accents of choice. . . I am using lovely leaves made by Honeywing
 
Font of Choice  ( I used Lyssa pay font)
 
 
Filters Needed:
 
 
Alien Skin Xenofex 2 Constellation (for animation)
 
 
Ok!  Let's begin!  Open up a new transparent image. 650x 650. Floodfill with white.  Open up the bcs_envelope and paste as a new layer onto your canvas.  Grab your magic wand tool, tolerance 30.00, feather 20.00.  Click inside of the notebook paper until it has marching ants feathered around it.  Open up your first tube of choice.  Paste onto your canvas and position to your liking.  Go to Selections > Invert.  Hit delete 6-8 times on your keyboard.  Deselect.  (CTRL+D) Give your tube a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 10.00
 
Highlight your envelope layer.  Set your magic wand tool to Tolerance 50, Feather 1.00. Click the pink of the envelope until it is all selected.  Copy and paste your 2nd tube of choice as a new layer onto your canvas. Go to Selections > Invert.  Hit delete on your keyboard.  Deselect (CTRL+D)  Hide your white background and merge your visible layers.  Give your merged layer a drop shadow H and V, 0, Opacity 40, Blur 20.00.
 
Open up the bcs floral vine.  Resize by 35%, smartsize.  Paste onto your canvas as a new layer.  Position on the left hand side of the envelope.  Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 5.00. 
 
Open up a lace of choice.  Resize by 30%, smartsize.  Position on the bottom of the envelope.  Give it a drop shadow of H and V  0, Opacity 20, Blur 5.00.
 
Open up a butterfly of choice.  Resize by 25%, smartsize.  Give it the same drop shadow you gave the lace.  Posotion over one of the ends of your lace. 
 
Open up a dragonfly of choice.  Resize by 25%.  Give it the same drop shadow you gave the butterfly.  Postion it on the other end of the lace. 
 
Open up a daisy of choice.  Position to your liking.  Give it a drop shadow fo H and V 0, Opacity 35, Blur 15.00
 
Hide your white background and merge your visible layers. 
 
Duplicate your merged layer.  On the original layer (the bottom one) go to adjust > blur > gaussian blur, and apply with a radius of 30.00. 
 
On the blurred layer, Apply the Two Moons, Wish it would rain filter with the following settings:

Add your copyright, watermark and any other text and embellishments.  Crop and resize to your liking.  If you are not animating, save as PNG or JPG.   If you are let's continue. 
 
On top tag layer apply Xenofex Constellation with the following settings:

Copy merged.  Open up Animation Shop.  Paste as a new animation in AS.  Back in PSP.  go to Edit > Undo Constellation.  Apply Xenofex Constellation again but hit the random seed button.  Copy merged and paste after the first frame in AS. 
 
Repeat the above stop one more time so you have a total of 3 frames.  Select all frames (CTRL+A) Change the frame properties to 13. 
 
Optimize and save as GIF.
