This tutorial was written by me on 11 July 2009. Any similarities to other tutorials is purely coincidental.
Supplies Needed:
Tube and close up of choice. I am using the awesome artwork of Jamie Kidd. I purchased this tube with CILM when it was still open. If you would like to purchase her artwork now, you can at CDO.

UF Mask 13 by Sunf. You can get it from her blog here
Font of choice. I used Bank Gothic.
Plugins Needed:
Eyecandy 4000 - Gradient Glow
Xero Filters - Pastellise
Animation Shop (opt)
No other supplies needed

Ok! Let's get started! Open up my template. Duplicate by holding down shift + d. Close the original. Delete teh credit info layer and the hearts layer.
Highlight the scribbled heart 1 layer. Go to selections > select all. Selections > float. Selections > defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 65%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Position to your liking within the selection. Go to selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard. Deselect (CTRL+D). Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 2, Opacity 75, Blur 3.00. Delete the gray scribbled heart 1 layer.
Highlight your scribbled heart 2 layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up another paper from the kit. Resize by 65%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Position to your liking within the selection. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V -2, Opacity 75, Blur 3.00. Delete the gray scribbled heart 2 layer.
Highlight the dashed circle 1 layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 70%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Position to your liking within the selection. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V -2, Opacity 85, Blur 3.00. Delete the purple dased circle 1 layer.
Highlight the dashed circle 2 layer. Select, float and defloat. Copy and paste the same paper you just used onto your canvas. (it should still be on your clipboard) Position to your liking within the selections. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 2, Opacity 85, Blur 3.00. Delete the purple dashed circle 2 layer.
Highlight the arrow circle 1 layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 70%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Position to your liking within the selection. Selectiosn > invert. Hit delete. Deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H 2, V -2, Opacity 85, Blur 3.00. Delete the turquoise arrow circle 1 layer.
Highlight the arrow circle 2 layer. Select, float and defloat. Copy and paste the same paper you just used onto your canvas. (it should still be on your clipboard) Position to your liking within the selection. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H -2, V -2, Opacity 85, Blur 3.00. Delete the torquoise arrow circle 2 layer.
Highlight the rectangle layer. Sleect, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 85%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 85, Blur 15.00. Delete the gray rectangle layer.
Highlight the 3 stripes layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 90%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 2, Opacity 65, Blur 5.00. Now give it a drop shadow of H and V -2, Opacity 40, Blur 5.00. Delete the purple 3 stripes layer.
Highlight the 2 stripes layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper fromt he kit. Resize by 90%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V -2, Opacity 65, Blur 5.00. Now give it a drop shadow of H and V 2, Oapcity 65, Blur 5.00. Delete the torquoise 2 stripes layer.
Highlight the scribbled heart fill layer. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 65%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Don't deselect.
Open up your close up. Resize, if necessary, bicubic. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Position to your liking within the selection. Hit delete. Deselect. Duplicate the close up layer. Change the bottom tube's blend mode to Luminance (Legacy). Highlight the top tube and change the belnd mode to Hard Light. Delete the torquoise scribbled heart fill layer.
Highlight the scribbled heart rectangle layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 65%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Apply Gradient Glow with the following settings:
Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 75, Blur 12.00. Delete the gray scribbled heart rectangle layer.
Highlight the circle heart fill 1 layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 40%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Position to your liking within the selection. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Don't deselect.
Open up your close up again. Resize, if necessary, bicubic. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Position to your liking within the selection. Hit delete. Deselect. Change the blend mode of the tube to Hard Light. Delete the purple circle heart fill 1 layer.
Highlight the circle heart fill 2 layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 40%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Position to your liking within the selection. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Don't deselect.
Open up your close up again. Resize, if necessary, bicubic. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Position to your liking within the selection. Hit delete. Deselect. Change the blend mode of the tube to Hard Light. Delete the purple circle heart fill 2 layer.
Highlight the circle heart 1 layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 40%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Position to your liking within the selection. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Deselect. Apply Gradient Glow same settings and color as earlier. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 75, Blur 10.00. Duplicate. Go to image > mirror. Delete both gray circle heart layers.
Open up 2 heart flower layers. Resize one by 30%, smartsize, and the other by 25%, smartsize. Copy and paste the larger one as a new layer onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H -4, V -3, Opacity 65, Blur 10.00. Position it underneath your left circle heart fill layer. (see my tag for reference) Duplicate it. Go to image > mirror. Copy and paste the smaller flower onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H -3, V -2, Opacity 65, Blur 6.00. Position it on top of the left larger heart flower. Duplicate. Go to image > mirror.
Open up 2 strings from the kit. Resize them by 55%, smartsize. Copy and paste them onto your canvas. Give them both a drop shadow of H 3, V -2, oapcity 65, Blur 7.00. Mirror and flip one of them. Position them to your liking. Drag them under all of the template layers to right above yoru white background.
Highlight your top layer. Open up a double hanging hearts of choice. Resize by 30%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Position to your liking on the scribbled heart rectangle. Give it a drop shadow of H -2, V -1, Opacity 75, Blur 5.00.
Open up a knotte bow of choice. Resize by 10%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opapcity 50, Blur 6.00. Position it at the top of your dangling hearts.
Open up your tube. Resize as necessary. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Position to your liking. Give it a drops hadow of H 10, V -4, oapcity 70, Blur 15.00. Now give it a drop shadow of H -4, V 2, Opacity 40, Blur 8.00. Arrange to your liking.
Add any other embellishments of your choosing.
Highlight your white background. Open up a paper from the kit. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Apply UF Mask 13 with the following settings:
Source Luminance
Fit to Canvas
Hide all Mask
Invert Transparency checked
Delete the mask, answer yes and merge the group. Give the mask a drop shadow of H -3, V 2, Opacity 45, Blur 5.00. Arrange it to your liking behind your tag.
Add your copyright info, watermark and your text. Hide your watermark, copyright info and your white background layer. Merge your visible layers together.
If you are not animating, save as JPG or PNG.
If you are animating, duplicate your merged layer. Hide your bottom merged layer. Highlight your top merged layer. Select, float and defloat. Apply Xero Filters - Pastellise with the following settings:
Copy merged. Paste as a new animation in Animation Shop.
Back to Paint Shop Pro. Hide your pastellised layer and unhide your bottom merged layer. Copy merged. Paste after frame 1 in AS.
Highlight your first frame in Animation Shop. Go to Effects > Insert Image Transition. Apply with the following settings:
You should have 22 frames. Go to frame 1, highlight it, and copy it. Paste after frame 22. Highlight frame 22, and apply the image transition again. Highlight frame 22 and change the frame properties to 90.
Optimize and save as gif.
