This tutorial was written by me on 18 June 2009. Any similarities to other tutorials is purely coincidental.
Supplies Needed:
3 tubes of choice. I am using the sexy artwork of Keith Garvey. I purchased these tubes when he was still with MPT. You can now purchase his work at PSP Tubes Emporium.
Scrapkit. I am using Something Simple by Designs by Ali. If you wish to purchase this beautiful kit, you can here. Thank you, Ali!!
Font of choice. I used A & S Snapper Script Light (pay font)
Plugins:
Penta Filters - Color Dot
Xero Filters - Titanium
FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss
No other supplies needed

Open up a new transparent image 700 x 700. Floodfill with white.
Open up frame 3 from the kit. Resize by 60%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Grab your freehand selection tool, type point to point, feather set at 0.00. Carefully select around the right rectangle. Make sure that overlap a little over the frame. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 60%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Position the paper to your liking within the selection. Selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard. Deselect. (CTRL + D) Go to effects > texture effects > weave and apply with the following settings:
Highlight your frame layer and grab your freehand selection tool, same settings as before. Carefully select around the middle rectangle frame, overlapping the frame a bit. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 35%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard. Don't deselect.
Open up your first tube of choice. Resize as necessary, bicubic. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Position the tube to your liking within the frame. Hit delete. Deselect. Duplicate the tube. Change the bottom tube blend mode to Multiply and the top tube blend mode to Screen. Give the bottom tube a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 8.00. Highlight the paper layer. Apply weave, same settings as before.
Highlight your frame layer and repeat the same steps for the left rectangle of the frame that you did with the middle frame, using a different tube.
Highlight your frame layer and drag it to the top of your layer palette. Give the frame a drop shadow of H -3, V -3, Opacity 75, Blur 10.00.
Open up your main tube. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 40, Blur 15.00. Position the tube to your liking in front of the right rectangle frame (the largest one). Duplicate your tube. Drag the bottom tube layer to right below your frame layer. Highlight your top tube layer. Erase part of one your tubes legs that is over the frame so it looks as my tube above.
Hide your white background and merge your visible layers. Hide your merged layer for now.
Open up the heart box. Resize by 55%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Apply Xero Filters - Titanium with the following settings:
Go to image > free rotate. Rotate left by 15.00, both boxes unchecked. Grab your freehand selection tool, type point to point, feather set to 25. Select, around the inside of the heart box. Apply Penta Filters - Color Dot with the following settings:
Don't deselect yet.
Open up your main tube again. Mirror it. Resize, bicubic, if necessary. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Position the tube to your liking within the selection in the heart box. Selections > invert. Hit delete about 3 times. Deselect. Duplicate the tube. Change the blend mode of the bottom tube to Hard Light. Change the blend mode to Screen. Merge the 2 tube layers together. Grab your magic wand tool, tolerance set to 100, feather set to 15. Click on the merged tube layer so that there are marching ants all around it. Go to selections > modify > contract by 5. Selections > invert. Go to adjust > brightness/contrast. Apply with brightness set to - 100, and contrast set to 25. Deselect. Give the merged tube layer a drop shadow of H -4, V -3, Opacity 70, Blur 7.00. Highlight the heart box and give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 70, Blur 10.00.
Highlight the heart box layer. Open up bow ribbon 1 from the kit. Resize by 40%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Go to image > free rotate. Rotate left by 15.00, both boxes unchecked. Go to adjust > sharpness > unsharp mask. Apply with radius - 5, strength 35, clipping 1. Apply Weave, same settings as before. Position the ribbon in the center of the beart box. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Oapcity 65, Blur 8.00. Highlight your heart box. Grab your magic wand tool, tolerance set to 100, feather set to 3. Click on the heart box so that there are marching ants all round it. Highlight your bow ribbon layer. Go to selections > invert. Hit delete. Deselect.
Open up the feather. Resize by 25%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H -2, V 0, Opacity 45, Blur 3.00. Position on the left side of the heart. Drag it beneath the bow ribbon layer.
Unhide the merged frame layer. Drag it to the top of you layer palette. Open up flower 5 from the kit. Resize by 30%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H -3, V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 5.00. Position it at the bottom right corner of the right rectangle frame. Duplicate the flower. Go to image > mirror. Resize the duplicated flower by 80%, smartsize. Go to image > free rotate. Rotate right by 16.00, both boxes unchecked. Position the flower underneath the original.
Open up bow 10 from the kit. Resize by 10%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 55, Blur 5.00. Duplicate the bow. Position one at the bottom of the flowers and the other at the left upper corner of the large rectangle frame.
Open up bow 11 from the kit. Resize by 10%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Position it on top left corner of the left frame.
Open up branch 5 from the kit. Resize by 15%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Go to image > flip. Give it a drop shadow of H -2, V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 3.00. Position it on the left side of the middle frame.
Open up the butterfly from the kit. Resize by 20%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Go to image > free rotate. Rotate left by 15.00, both boxes unchecked. Apply unsharp mask, same settings as before. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 55, Blur 6.00. Position the butterfly at the top left corner of the middle frame.
Open up Rose 4 from the kit. Resize by 65%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Go to image > free rotate. Rotate left by 15.00, both boxes unchecked. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 70, Blur 10.00. Position it behind the heart box.
Open up Rose 3 from the kit. Resize by 20%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 5.00. Position it to the right of the larger rose.
Open up the stitched ribbon from the kit. Resize by 45%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H -2, V -3, Opacity 65, Blur 6.00. Position it behind the heart box, on top of the roses.
Open up doodle 6 from the kit. Resize by 45%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Go to image > free rotate. Rotate right by 90.00, both boxes unchecked. Give it a drop shadow of H 2, V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 3.00. Position to the top right of the tag. Duplicate. Go to image > mirror. Then, image > flip.
Open up Rose 2. Resize by 30%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Go to image > free rotate. Rotate left by 90.00, both boxes unchecked. Give it a drop shadow of H -3, V -2, Opacity 65, Blur 8.00. Position the flower at the bottom of your tube's feet.
Add any other embellishments of your choosing.
Hide your white background and merge your visible layers. Duplicate your merged layer. On your bottom layer, go to adjust > blur > gaussian blur. Apply with a radius of 15. Apply Wave same settings as before, but change the gap color to white. Now apply FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss with the following settings:
Crop and resize to your liking.
Add our copyright info, watermark and your text.
Save as JPG or PNG.
