Falling For Fashion

This tutorial was written by me on 11 October 2009. Any similarities to other tutorials is purely coincidental.
Supplies needed:
3 tubes of choice. I am using the awesome work of Rion Vernon (Pinuptoons). I got this tube when CILM was still open. You can find him at CDO now.

Font of choice. I used Scrap Plaid. (pay font)
Plugins:
Eyecandy 5 Textures - Texture Noise. This filter is optional
FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss
No other supplies needed

Ok! Let's get started! Open up my template. Duplicate by holding down shift + d. Close the original. Delete the credit info layer.
Highlight the oval layer. Go to selections > select all. Selections > float. Selections > defloat. Open up Paper 28 from the kit. Resize by 75%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Go to selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard. Deselect. (CTRL+D) Apply Eyecandy Texture Noise with the following settings:
Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 70, Blur 13.00. Delete the gray oval layer.
Highlight the oval stripes layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a Paper 24 from the kit. Resize by 75%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 4.00. Delete the white oval stripes layer.
Highlight the rounded rectangle layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up Paper 19 from the kit. Resize by 75%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 70, Blur 13.00. Delete the black rounded rectangle layer.
Highlight the white rectangle fill layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up Paper 11 from the kit. Resize by 75%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard. Deselect. Delete the white rectangle fill layer.
Highlight the white rectangle fill layer. Select, float and defloat. Add a new raster layer. Floodfill your new layer with color #e23f41. Deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 70, Blur 4.00. Delete the gray rectangle frame layer.
Highlight the bottom rotated rectangle layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up Paper 22 from the kit. Resize by 75%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H 4, V -2, Opacity 55, Blur 8.00. Delete the gray bottom rotated rectangle layer.
Highlight the top rotated rectangle layer. Select, float and defloat. Copy and paste Paper 22 (resize by 75%, smartsize) as a new layer onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H -4, V 2, Opacity 55, Blur 8.00. Delete the gray top rotated rectangle layer.
Highlight the small oval fill layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up Paper 10 from the kit. Resize by 75%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Don't deselect yet!
Open up your first tube of choice. Resize, as necessary, bicubic. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Position the tube to your liking within the selection. Hit delete. Deselect. Give the tube a drop shadow of H -4, V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 6.00. Delete the pink small oval fill layer.
Highlight the small oval frame layer. Select, float and defloat. Add a new raster layer. Floodfill your new layer with color #662a04. Deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 70, Blur 4.00. Delete the gray small oval frame layer.
Highlight the circle layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up Paper 13 from the kit. Resize by 70%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Position the paper to your liking within the selection. Selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 70, Blur 10.00. Delete the dark gray circle layer.
Highlight the long rectangle fill layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up Paper 6 from the kit. Resize by 70%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Position it to your liking within the selection. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Don't deselect yet!
Open up your second tube of choice. Resize it as necessary, bicubic. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Hit delete. Deselect. Give the tube a drop shadow of H 4, V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 6.00. Delete the pink long rectangle fill layer.
Highlight the long rectangle frame layer. Select, float and defloat. Add a new raster layer. Floodfill the new layer with color #fa6472. Deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 70, Blur 4.00. Delete the gray long rectangle frame layer.
Open up a flower from the kit. Resize by 30%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 8.00. Duplicate the flower. Mirror the duplicated flower. Position the original flower behind your small oval fill layer, so that it is peeking out from behind it. Arrange the mirrored flower behind the long rectangle fill layer so that it is peeking out from behind it. (see my tag for reference)
Highlight your top layer. Open up the flower string from the kit. Resize by 30%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H 2, V-1, Opacity 65, Blur 3.00. Position it at the right side of the small oval frame.
Open up a heart ribbon from the kit. Resize by 50%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Go to image > mirror. Give it a drop shadow of H -2, V -1, Opacity 65, Blur 3.00. Position it at the top left corner of the long rectangle frame.
Open up a glass brad from the kit. Resize by 12%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 55, Blur 4.00. Position as in my tag above.
Open up a fabric flower from the kit. Resize by 30%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H -2, V -1, Opacity 65, Blur 4.00. Position it at the bottom left corner of the long rectangle frame.
Open up a butterfly from the kit. Resize by 25%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H -2, V -2, Opacity 55, Blur 7.00. Duplicate the butterfly. Go to image > mirror. Position them to your liking on the large oval.
Add any other embellishments of your choosing.
Open up your main tube. Resize, as necessary, bicubic. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 75, Blur 13.00. Arrange the tube to your liking.
Highlight your white background layer. Open up Paper 14 from the kit. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Apply WSl Mask 208 with the following settings:
Source Luminance
Fit to Canvas
Hide all mask
Delete the mask, answer yes to the pop up box and merge the group.
Go to effects > texture effects > weave. Apply with the following settings:
Apply FM Tile Tools Blend Emboss with the default settings.
Crop and resize to your liking.
Add your copyright info, watermark and your text. Save as JPG or delete your white background layer and save as PNG.
