Fairy Blossom

This tutorial was written by me on 31 Decemeber 2008. Any similarities to other tutorials is purely coincidental.
Supplies Needed:
Tube of choice. I am using the sensual artwork of Elias Chatzoudis. I bought this tube when he was still with MPT. YOu can find him at PSP Tubes Emporium now.
Scrapkit. I am using the brightly colored Angel Blossoms by Soxsational Scraps. If you wish to purchase this awesome kit, you can here. Thank you, Tracey!!
Template 90 made by me which you can download here
Font of choice. I am using Lover's Quarrel (pay font)
Plugins:
Xenofex 1 - Shower Door
Xenofex 2 - Constellation
Xero Filters - Porcelain
Animation Shop (opt)
No other supplies needed

Ok! Let's get started! Open up my template. Duplicate by holding down shift + d. Close the original. Delete the credit info layer.
Highlight the diamond lines layer. Go to selections > select all. Selections > float. Selections > defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Don't resize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Go to selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard. Deselect (CTRL+D). Give the layer a drop shadow of H 2, V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 2.00. Delete the black diamond lines layer.
Highlight the butterflies layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up another paper from the kit. Don't resize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H -2, V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 2.00. Delete the dark gray butterflies layer.
Highlight the rectangle 1 layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 78%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V -5, Opacity 65, Blur 5.00. Delete the dark gray rectangle 1 layer.
Highlight the rectangle 2 layer. Select, float and defloat. Copy and paste the same paper you just used as a new layer onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 5, Opacity 65, Blur 5.00. Delete the dark gray rectangle 2 layer.
Highlight the circle 1 layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 78%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Selection > invert. Hit delete. Don't deselect.
Open up a ribbon from the kit. Resize by 25%, smartsize. Go to image > free rotate. Rotate right by 90.00. Position to your liking. Hit delete. Deselect. Give the ribbon a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 5.00.
Highlight the gray circle 2 layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up the same paper you used for the circle 1 layer. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Deselect.
Duplicate the ribbon. Go to image > mirror. Position on the paper circle 2 layer.
Highlight the paper circle 1 layer. Give it a drop shadow of H 5, V -5, Opacity 60, Blur 5.00. Delete the gray circle 1 layer.
Highlight the paper circle 2 layer. Give it a drop shadow of H -5, V 5, Opacity 60, Blur 5.00. Delete the gray circle 2 layer.
Highlight the white circle layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 78%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 10.00. Delete the white circle layer.
Highlight the flower fill 1 layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 78%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Delete the gray flower fill 1 layer.
Highlight the flower fill 2 layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up another paper from the kit. Resize by 78%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Don't deselet yet.
Open up your tube. Resize as necessary, bicubic. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Position to your liking within the selections. Hit delete and deselect. Change the blend mode of the tube to Luminance (Legacy). Give the tube a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 6.00. Delete the gray flower fill 2 layer.
Highlight the flower dot layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 78%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Delete the black flower dot layer.
Highlight the flower outline layer. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 78%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 4.00. Delete the gray flower outline layer.
Open up a bow of choice from the kit. Resize by 25%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 5.00. Duplicate the bow. Go to image > mirror. Then, image > flip. Position them to your liking.
Open up another bow of choice from the kit. Resize by 40%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 5.00. Position in the middle of the template flower.
Open up a butterfly of choice. Resize by 20%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 5.00. Duplicate the butterfly. Go to image > mirror. Position them to your liking.
Highlight your white background. Open up a flower from the kit. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 8.00. Duplicate the flower. Position them to your liking.
Hide your white background. Merge your visible layers together. Resize the merged layer by 90%, smartsize. Apply Xero Porcelain with the following settings:
Go to adjust > sharpen > unsharp mask. Apply with the following settings:
Radius 5
Strength 25
Clipping 1
Duplicate the merged layer. On the bottom layer, go to adjust > blur > gaussian blur. Apply with a radius of 15. Apply Xenofex Shower Door with the following settings:
Open up your tube. Resize as necessary, bicubic. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 10.00. Position to your liking.
Crop and resize to your liking.
Add your copyright info, watermark and your text. If you are not animating, save as JPG or PNG.
If you are animating, then grab your freehand selection tool, type point to point, feather set at 0.00. Carefully select around the part of the tube you would like to add constellation to. Apply Constellation with the following settings:
Copy merged. Open up Animation Shop and paste as a new animation in AS.
Back to Paint Shop Pro. Go to edit > undo constellation. Then, edit > undo select none. Apply Constellation again, but this time hit the random seed button. Copy merged and paste after your current frame in AS.
Repeat the above steps one more time for a total of 3 frames.
Optimize and save as gif.
