Dress Me Up

This tutorial was written by me on 19 March 2009. Any similarities to other tutorials is purely coincidental.
Supplies Needed:
Image or Close Up of choice. I am using the sophisticated artwork of Marco Guaglione. I got this tube when he was still with MPT. You can find his art at PSP Tubes Emporium now.

Font of choice. I used Nineteen Ten Vienna which you can download here.
No outside plug ins needed.

Let's get started! Open up a new transparent image 700 x 700. Floodfill with white. Open up frame 3 from the kit. Resize by 65%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Go to image > free rotate. Rotate right by 90.00 degrees both boxes unchecked. Grab your magic wand tool, tolerance set at 30, feather set at 0.00. Click inside the empty space of the frame. Go to selections > modify > expand by 5.00.
Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 84%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard. Don't deselect yet!
Open up your image or close-up. Resize as necessary, bicubic. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Position to your liking within the frame. Hit delete and deselect (CTRL + D). Lower the opacity of your tube to about 80%. Give your tube a drop shadow of H -6, V -3, Opacity 70, Blur 7.00. Highlight your frame layer. Drag it to the top of your layer palette and give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opaicty 75, Blur 7.00. Hide your white background and merge your visible layers together.
Open up frame 2 from the kit. Resize by 35%, smartsize. Go to adjust > sharpen. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Grab your magic wand tool, same settings as before. Go to selections > modify > expand by 4.00. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 50%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Go to selections > invert. Hit delete. Do not deselect.
Open up your tube again. Resize as necessary, bicubic. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Position to your liking within the frame. Hit delete. Deselect. Give your tube a drop shadow of H and V 0, Oapcity 65, Blur 6.00. Change the blend mode to screen. Highlight your circle frame and drag it above the paper and tube layer. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65,. Blur 6.00. Hide your white background and your merged layer. Merge your visible layers together.
Duplicate the circle frame layer. Go to image > mirror. Position them as in my tag above.
Open up a flower from the kit. Resize by 40%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 7.00. Duplicate. Position them as in my tag above.
Open up a gem flower of choice. Resize by 45%, smartsize. Go to adjust > sharpness > unsharp mask. Apply with a radius 5, strength 25, clipping 1. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H -2, V 0, Opacity 70, Blur 3.00. Duplicate. Go to image > mirror. Position them over the flowers.
Open up string 1 from the kit. Resize by 30%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H -2, V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 3.00. Duplicate. Go to image > mirror. Position them to your liking on the round frames.
Open up a charm from the kit. Resize by 30%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 4.00. Position to your liking on one of the round frames.
Open up a bow from the kit. Resize by 30%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 4.00. Position to your liking on the other round frame.
Open up a hanging charm from the kit. Resize by 50%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Go to image > free rotate. Rotate left by 90.00, both boxes unchecked. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 70, Blur 4.00. Duplicate. Go to image > mirror. Then, image > flip. Position one at the top of the rectangle frame and the other at the bottom. Drag both hanging charms to right above your merged rectangle frame.
Open up the hanger. Resize by 25%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H -2, V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 2.00. Position to your liking.
Open up the butterfly from the kit. Resize by 25%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Go to image > free rotate. Rotate right by 25.00 degrees, both boxes unchecked. Go to adjust > sharpen. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 4.00. Position to your liking.
Add any other embellishments of your choosing.
Highlight your white background. Open up a paper from the kit. Don't resize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Apply EBD Mask 16 with the following settings:
Source Luminance
Fit to Layer
Hide all mask
Delete the mask, answer yes and merge the group. Resize the mask by 75%, smartsize. Give it a drop shadow of H 2, V 0, Opacity 65. Blur 3.00. Duplicate the mask. Go to image > mirror. Then, image > flip. Center them behind your tag.
Crop and resize to your liking.
Add your copyright info, watermark and text.
Save as JPG or PNG.
