Damn Sexy

This tutorial was written by me on 30 April 2009. Any similarities to other tutorials is purely coincidental.
Supplies Needed:
Tube of choice. I am using the sexy artwork of Keith Garvey. I purchased this tube when he was still with MPT. You can get his art at PSP Tubes Emporium now.

Ok! Let's get started! Open up my template. Duplicate by hlding down shift + d. Close the original. Delete the credit info layer.
Highlight the stripes layer. Go to selections > select all. Selections > float. Selections > defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 75%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Go to selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard. Deselect. (CTRL+D). Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 1, Opacity 75, Blur 2.00. Now give it a drop shadow of H and V -1, Opacity 45, Blur 2.00. Delete the black stripes layer.
Highlight the 3 rectangles layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 75%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 75, Blur 7.00. Delete the gray 3 rectangles layer.
Highlight the sexu fill layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a solid colored paper. Resize by 55%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Don't deselect yet!
Open up a polka dot paper. Resize by 55%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Hit delete. Deselect.
Highlight the circle layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 65%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Don't deselect.
Open your tube. Resize, if necessary, bicubic. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Position to your liking within the circle. Hit delete. Deselect.
Duplicate your tube. On the bottom tube, give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 70, Blur 10.00, Shadow on New Layer box checked! On your bottom tube layer, select, float and defloat. Apply Xero Pastellise with the following settings:
Deselect. Highlight the paper circle and give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 80, Blur 10.00. Delete the gray circle layer.
Highlight the right rectangle layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 55%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Position to your liking within the selection. Hit delete. Don't deselect yet.
Copy and paste your tube onto your canvas again. Position to your liking within the rectangle. Hit delete. Deselect. Highlight your tube layer. Select, float and defloat. Change your foreground color to a bright color that matches your tag, and your background to white. Apply Xero Pastellise to the tube, same settings except change the style to Duochrome. Deselect. Give the tube a drop shadow of H -2, Opacity 65, Blur 5.00.
Highlight the paper rectangle layer and give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 70, Blur 6.00. Delete the gray right rectangle layer.
Highlight your left rectangle layer. Select, float and defloat. Copy and paste the same paper you used for the right, resized by 55%, smartsize. Position within the selection. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 70, Blur 6.00. Delete the gray rectangle layer.
Highlight the right rectangle tube. Duplicate. Go to image > mirror. Position in the left rectangle.
Open up a bow wrap from the kit. Resize by 40%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Go to image > free rotate. Rotate left by 90.00, both boxes unchecked. Position it on the left side of the left rectangle. Grab your freehand selection tool, type point to point, feather set at 2.00. Carefully select around the ends of the wrap that are hanging over the rectangle. Hit delete and deselect. Give it a drop shadow of H -2, V 0, Opacity 55, Blur 3.00. Duplicate. Go to image > mirror. Position on the right side of the right rectangle.
Open up a flower of choice. Resize by 20%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 5.00. Duplicate. Go to image > mirror. Position one on the right rectangle, and the other on the left.
Open up button from the kit. Resize by 30%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H -2, V 0, Opacity 55, Blur 3.00. Duplicate. Mirror the duplicated button. Position to your liking on the circle.
Open up the safety pin. Resize by 20%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 3.00. Duplicate. Go to image > mirror. Position them to your liking on the circle.
Open up a binder clip. Resize by 20%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 5.00. Duplicate. Go to image > flip. Position one at the top of the middle rectangle and the other at the bottom.
Open up a tag from the kit. Resize, 20%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H1, V -1, Opacity 50, Blur 2.00. Duplicate. Go to image > mirror. Position them to your liking on the rectangles.
Highlight your white background. Open up the flower wire. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 4.00. Position behind the stripes.
Open up the glitters from the kit. Copy and paste them onto your canvas. Free rotate both of them left by 90.00, both boxes unchecked. Resize one by 70%, smartsize, and the other by 65%. Give the both a drop shadow of H 2, V 0, Opacity 55, Blur 2.00. Position the larger one behind the middle rectangle so that it is peeking out a bit. Position the smaller one so that it is peeking out from behind the left rectangle. Duplicate the smaller glitter. Resize by 95%, smartsize. Position next to the original. Duplicate all 3 glitter layers. Mirror all of them. Arrange as in my tag above.
Highlight your white background. Open up a paper from the kit. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Apply Vix Mask 241 with the following settings:
Source Luminance
Fit to Canvas
Hide all Mask
Delete the mask, answer yes and merge the group. Resize the mask by 85%, smartsize. Give it a drop shadow of H -2, V -1, Opacity 55, Blur 2.00.
Highlight your white background. Open up another paper from the kit. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Apply Vix Mask 261, same settings. Resize by 80%, smartsize. Go to adjust > blur > gaussian blur. Apply with a radius of 10. Go to effects > textures > fine leather. Apply with the following settings:
Add any other embellishments of your choosing.
Crop and resize to your liking.
Add your copyright info, watermark, and your text. If you are not animating, save as JPG or PNG.
If you are animating, copy merged. Open up Animation Shop. Paste as a new animation in AS.
Back to Paint Shop Pro. Highlight your top tube layer. Lower the opacity to 80. Hide the polka dot sexy fill layer. Copy merged. Paste after frame 1 in AS.
In PSP, lower the opacity of the top tube to 60. Unhide the polka dot sexy fill layer. Copy merged. Paste after frame 2 in AS.
In PSP, lower the opacity of the top tube to 40. Hide the polka dot sexy fill layer. Copy merged. Paste after frame 3 in AS.
In PSP, lower the opacity of the tube to 20. Unhide the polka dot sexy fill layer. Copy merged. Paste after frame 4 in AS.
Back to PSP. Lower the opacity of the top tube to 0. Hide the polka dot sexy fill layer. Copy merged. Paste after frame 5 in AS.
In PSP, change the opacity of the top tube to 20. Unhide the polka dot sexy fill layer. Copy merged. Paste after frame 6 in AS.
Back to PSP. Change the opacity of the top tube to 40. Hide the polka dot sexy fill layer. Copy merged. Paste after frame 7 in AS.
In PSP, change the opacity of the top tube to 60. Unhide the polka dot sexy fill layer. Copy merged. Paste after frame 8 in AS.
In PSP, change the opacity of the top tube layer to 80. Hide the polka dot sexy fill layer. Copy merged. Paste after frame 9 in AS.
You should have a total of 10 frames. In Animation Shop, select all frames (CTRL+A). Change the frame properties to 25.
Optimize and save as gif.
