Close Your Eyes Gorjuss

This tutorial was written by me on 24 may 2009. Any similarities to other tutorials is purely coincidental.
Supplies Needed:
2 tubes of choice. I am using the adorable artwork of Suzanne Woolcott. If you wish to use her artwork, you must purchase a license here.
Scrapkit. I used Gorgeous Love by Angelic Scraps. If you wish to purchase this pretty pastel kit, you can here. Thank you, Ann!!

Font of choice. I used Scrap Cursive (pay font)
Plugins:
Xenofex 1 - Shower Door
Xenofex 2 - Crumple
Eyecandy 4000 - Gradient Glow
Xero Filters - Sparkles and Porcelain XL

Ok! Let's get started! Open up my template. Duplicate by holding down shift + d. Close the original. Delete the credit info layer.
Highlight the doodles layer. Go to selections > select all. Selections > float. Selections > defloat. Add a new raster layer. Open up a paper from the kit. Click on your materials palette. Make the paper your background, Angle 0, Scale 100. Floodfill the new layer with the paper pattern. Deselect. (CTRL+D) Give the layer a drop shadow of H 2, V 0, Opacity 55, Blur 4.00. Delete the gray doodles layer.
Highlight you Feedback Bracket layer. Select, float and deflaot. Add a new raster layer. Open up another paper from the kit. Click on your materials palette, and make it your background, same settings as before. Floodfill the new layer with your paper pattern. Deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H -3, V -1, Opacity 55, Blur 5.00. Delete the gray Feedback Bracket layer.
Highlight the Bracket layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 85%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Go to selecions > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard. Don't deselect yet.
Open up a folded ribbon of choice. Resize by 85%, smartsize. Go to image > free rotate. Rotate left by 25.00 degrees, both boxes unchecked. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Position it in the left upper corner of the bracket. Hit delete. Deselect. Give the ribbon a drop shadow of H 2, V 0, Opacity 55, Blur 3.00. Duplicate the folded ribbon. Go to image > mirror. Then, image > flip.
Highlight the paper bracket. Apply Gradient Glow, with a color of choice, using the following settings:
Repeat 2 more times. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 5.00. Delete the black bracket layer.
Highlight the scalloped circle fill layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 70%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Delete the gray scalloped circle fill layer.
Highlight the scalloped circle layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 70%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 15.00. Delete the gray scalloped circle layer.
Highlight the diamond circle layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 65%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 1, Opacity 45, Blur 2.00. Delete the white diamond circle layer.
Highlight the Heart 1 layer. Selelect, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kti. Resize by 65%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canavas. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Don't deselect.
Open up a ric rac from the kit. Resize by 80%, smartsize. Go to image > free rotate. Rotate left by 45.00 degrees, both boxes unchecked. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Position towards the top of the heart. Hit delete. Deselect. Give the ric rac a drop shadow of H 2, V 0, Opacity 55, Blur 3.00. Highlight the paper heart and give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 10.00. Delete the white heart 1 layer.
Highlight the Heart 2 layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 65%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Don't deselect.
Open up another ric rac from the kit. Resize by 65%, smartsize. Go to image > free rotate. Rotate left by 35.00 degrees. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Position towards the top of the heart. Hit delete and deselect. Give the ric rac a drop shadow of H 2, V 0, Opacity 55 Blur 3.00. Highlight the paper heart 2 layer and give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 10.00. Delete the gray Heart 2 layer.
Highlight the frame fill layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 65%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Don't deselect yet.
Open up your firs tube of choice. Resize as necessary, bicubic. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Position to your liking within the selection. Hit delete. Give your tube a drop shadow of H 3, V -1, Opacity 60, Blur 5.00. Change the blend mode of the tube to Luminance (Legacy) and lower the opacity to 80.
Highlight the frame layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 65%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H 2, V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 2.00. Delete the black frame layer.
Open up 2 flowers from the kit. Resize one by 35%, smartsize, and the other 30%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give them both a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 55, Blur 7.00. Position them to your liking on the frame.
Open up a heart charm from the kit. Resize by 30%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 55, Blur 3.00. Position to your liking on the frame.
Open up a Flower Heart from the kit. Resize by 35%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Go to image > free rotate. Rotate right by 16.00 degrees unchecked. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 55, Blur 6.00. Duplicate. Go to image > mirror. Position them to your liking on the bracket.
Open up another flower from the kit. Resize by 45%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 55, Blur 7.00. Position to your liking on the bracket.
Open up the beaded words from the kit. Resize by 45%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H -2, V -1, Opacity 55, Blur 4.00. Position to your liking.
Open up a writing paper from the kit. Resize by 35%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Go to image > free rotate. Rotate right by 50.00 degrees unchecked. Apply Xenofex 2 - Crumple with the following settings:
Give it a drop shadow of H 3, V -2, Opacity 55, Blur 8.00. Positon to your liking.
Open up a postcard from the kit. Resize by 35%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H 3, V 2, Opacity 55, Blur 6.00. Position to your liking.
Open up 2 buttons from the kit. Resize by 30 and 35%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give them both a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 55, Blur 5.00. Position to your liking.
Open a bow from the kit. Resize by 45%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 55, Blur 5.00. Position to your liking.
Highlight your white background. Open up doodle 1 from the kit. Resize by 55%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Go to image > free rotate. Rotate left by 45.00 degrees both boxes unchecked. Give it a drop shadow of H -2, V 0, Opacity 40, Blur 3.00. Duplicate. Go to image > mirror. Then, image > flip. Position them to your liking.
Open up doodle 2 from the kit. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H 2, V 0, Opacity 40, Blur 3.00. Duplicate. Go to image > mirror. Then, image > flip. Position them to your liking.
Highlight your top layer. Open up your main tube. Resize as necessary, bicubic. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Apply Xero - Porcelain XL with the following settings:
Give your tube a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 12.00. Position the tube to your liking.
Hide your white background. Merge your visible layers. Duplicate the merged layer. On the bottom layer, go to adjust > blur > gaussian blur. Apply with a radius of 15.00. Apply Xenofex 1 Shower Door with the following settings:
Add a new raster layer. Make sure the new layer is above the blurred layer, but below the merged tag layer. Go to selections > select all. Open up a paper from the kit. Copy. Paste into selection. Deselect. Apply EBD Mask 67 with the following settings:
Source Luminance
Fit to Canvas
Hide all Mask
Delete the mask, answer yes and merge the group. Give the mask a drop shadow of H 1, V -1, Opacity 35, Blur 2.00.
Highlight your top tag merged layer and resize it by 95%, bicubic.
Crop and resize to your liking.
Add your copyright info, watermark and your text. If you are not animating, save as JPG or PNG.
If you are animating, highlight your top layer. Select, float and defloat. Apply Xero Sparkles, using a color of choice, with the following settings:
Deselect. Copy merged. Open up Animation Shop. Paste as a new animation in AS.
Back to PSP. Go to edit > undo select none. Edit > undo sparkles. Apply Sparkles again but this time slide the Maximum slider to 977. Copy merged. Paste after frame 1 in AS.
Back to PSP. Undo 2 times. Apply sparkles again, but change Maximum to 978. Copy merged and paste after frame 2 in AS.
In PSP, Undo 2 times. Apply sparkles, changing Maximum to 979. Copy merged. Paste after frame 3 in AS.
Back to PSP. Undo 2 times. Apply sparkles, changing Maximim to 980. Copy merged and paste after frame 4 in AS.
In Animation Shop, select all frames (CTRL+A). Change the frame properties to 12.
Optimize and save as gif.
