Burning Love

This tutorial was written by me on 27 January 2009. Any similarities to other tutorials is purely coincidental.
Supplies Needed:
Tube of choice. I am using the awesome artwork of Ismael Rac. I bought this tube when he was still with MPT. You can find him at PSP Tubes Emporium now.
Scrapkit. I am using the awesome kit, Feathered Hearts by Butterfly Blush Designs. If you wish to purchase this kit, you can here. Thank you, Brooke!

Font of choice. I used A&S Black Swan (pay font)

Eyecandy 5 Nature - Corona
Animation Shop (opt)

Ok! Let's get started. Open up my template. Duplicate by holding shift + d. Close the original. Delete the credit info layer.
Highlight the doodle layer. Go to selections > select all. Selections > float. Selections > defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Don't resize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Go to selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard. Deselect (CTRL + D) Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 1, Opacity 70, Blur 2.00. Delete the dark gray doodle layer.
Highlight the shape fill layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 75%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Do not deselect!
Open up a metal ribbon of choice. Go to image > free rotate. Rotate left by 90.00. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Position the right of the shape fill layer. Hit delete. Give the metal ribbon a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 5.00. Delete the black shape fill layer.
Highlight the shape frame layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 75%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 70, Blur 5.00. Delete the gray shape frame layer.
Highlight the flowers ring fill layer. Select, float ande defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize, 75%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Don't deselect!
Open up your tube. Resize as necessary, bicubic. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Position to the left of the selection. Hit delete. Give the tube a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 8.00. Lower the opacity of the tube to 60%. Duplicate the tube. Go to image > mirror. Arrange to your liking.
Highlight the flower rings layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice. Resize by 75%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 2, Opaicty 75, Blur 2.00. Delete the gray flower rings layer.
Open up a flower of choice. Resize by 40%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 5.00. Duplicate the flower. Position them to your liking.
Open up a bow of choice. Resize by 45%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 5.00. Duplicate the bow. Go to image > mirror. Position to your liking.
Open up a butterfly. Resize by 30%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto yoru canvas. GIve it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 5.00. Duplicate. Go to image > mirror. Position to your liking.
Highlight the paper flower rings fill layer. Open up a book of choice from the kit. Resize by 50%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V0, Opacity 65, Blur 7.00. Position in the center of the flower rings.
Highlight the flower rings frame. Open up a feathered heart of choice. Resize by 30%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 40, Blur 5.00. Position in the center of the flower rings.
Highlight your white background. Open up a flowers of choice. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 8.00. Duplicate the flowers. Go to image > flip. Position as in my tag above.
Hide your white background. Merge your visible layers. Resize your merged layer by 80%, bicubic.
Unhide and highlight your white background. Open up a paper from the kit. Don't resize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Apply the mask with the following settings:
Source Luminance
Fit to Canvas
Hide all Mask
Delete the mask, answer yes and merge the group. Resize the mask by 95%, smartsize.
Open up your tube. Resize, if necessary, bicubic. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give your tube a drop shadow of H -5, V 0, Opacity 55, Blur 10.00. Position to your liking.
Crop and resize to your liking.
Add your copyright info, watermark and text. If you are not animating, save as JPG or PNG.
If you are animating, highlight your mask layer. Apply Eyecandy 2 Nature Corona with the following settings (using a color of choice):
Copy merged. Open up Animation Shop. Paste as a new animation in AS.
Back to PSP. Go to edit > undo Corona. Apply Corona again but this time hit the random seed button. Copy merged and paste after your current frame in AS.
Repeat the above steps 3 more times for a total of 5 frames.
Select all frames (CTRL+A). Change the frame properties to 13.
Optimize and save as gif.
