Bad Thing

This tutorial was written by me on 17 December 2008. Any similarities to other tutorials is purely coincidental.
Supplies Needed:
Tube of choice. I am using the awesome artwork of Joe Cano. I bought this tube when he was still with MPT . You can find his work at PSP Tubes Emporium now.
Scrapkit. I am using the awesome scrap bad Girlfriend by Scraps with Attitude. If you would like to purchase this scrap, you can here. Thank you, Missy!!

Fonts of choice. I used Bank Gothic and Sweetheart (both pay fonts)

Ok! Let's get started! Open up the template. Duplicate by holding shift + d. Close the original. Delete the credit info layer.
Highlight the rounded rectangles 1 layer. Go to selections > select all. Selections > float. Selections > defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 68%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard. Deselect (CTRL+D) Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 10.00. Delete the gray rounded rectangles 1 layer.
Highlight the rounded rectangles 2 layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up another paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 68%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 10.00. Delete the gray rounded rectangles 2 layer.
Highlight the circle 1 layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice. Resize by 68%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 12.00. Delete the gray circle 1 layer.
Highlight the circle 1 stripes layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 68%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 5.00. Delete the white stripes layer.
Highlight the circle 2 layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice. Resize by 68%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 10.00. Delete the gray circle 2 layer.
Highlight the circle 2 stripes. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 68%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 5.00. Delete the white stripes layer.
Highlight the frame fill layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 68%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Delete the gray frame fill layer.
Highlight the frame layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice. Resize by 68%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Do NOT deselect!!
Open up your tube. Resize as necessary, bicubic. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Position to your liking.
Grab your eraser tool, size 25, Blur 100. Carefully erase the part of your tube you don't want hanging out of your frame. Deselect. Give your tube a drop shadow of H 10, V -10, Opacity 65, Blur 8.00. Delete the gray frame layer.
Highlight the 2 frames fill layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 60%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Don't deselect yet!!
Open up your tube. Resize as necessary, bicubic. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Position within one of the frames. Hit delete and deselect. Change the blend mode of the tube to Luminance (Legacy) Give the tube a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 8.00. Duplicate the tube layer. Go to image > mirror. Postion in the other frame. Delete the white 2 frames fill layer.
Highlight the 2 frames. Select, float and defloat. Add a new raster layer. Floodfill the new layer with a color of choice. Deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 8.00. Delete the gray 2 frames layer.
Open up a double now of choice. Resize by 15%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 5.00. Duplicate the now. Go to image > mirror. Position to your liking on your rounded rectangles.
Open up a lips sticker of choice. Resize by 10%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 5.00. Duplicate the lips and mirror it. Position to your liking on the rounded rectangles.
Open up the bead heart string from the kit. Resize by 25%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 5.00. Position to your liking on the big frame.
Open up a button of choice. Resize by 10%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 5.00. Position to your liking.
Open up a star bead of choice. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Resize by 10%, smartsize. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 5.00. Duplicate the star bead. Go to image > mirror. Position to your liking.
Open up the screw. Resize by 20%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Duplicate the screw. Position so it looks as if they are holding the star beads in place. Drag both screw layers beneath the star beads layer.
Add any other embellishments of your choosing.
Hide your white background. Merge your visible layers.
Unhide and highlight your white background. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Don't resize and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Apply Rachel's mask with the following settings:
Source Luminance
Fit to Canvas
Hide all Mask
Delete the mask from your layer palette. Answer yes and merge the group.
Crop and resize to your liking.
Add your copyright info, watermark and your text.
Highlight your mask layer. Apply Eyecandy Textures- Texture Noise with the following settings:
Give the mask a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 5.00. Copy merged. Open up Animation Shop. Paste as a new animation.
Back to Paint Shop Pro. Go to edit > undo drop shadow. Edit > undo texture noise. Apply texture noise again, but this time, hit the random seed button. Give the mask a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 5.00. Copy merged. Paste after your current frame in AS.
Repeat the above steps 3 more times for a total of 5 frames.
Optimize and save as gif.
