This tutorial was written by me on 16 January 2009. Any similarities to other tutorials is purely coincidental.
Supplies Needed:
Tube of choice. I am using the beautiful artwork of Sonia Roji. If you wish to use her artwork, you must purchase a license with MPT.
Scrapkit. I am using the lovely kit My Treasured Love by Vella Wench Designs. If you wish to purchase this kit, you can here.
Template 105 made by me which you can download here.
BflyFlbyMask31 by Butterfly Flutterbly Creations. You can download this mask, plus many others here.
Font of choice. I used Zirkon which you can download here.

Ok! Let's get started! Open up my template. Duplicate by holding down shift + d. Closet the original. Delete the credit info layer.
Highlight the scalloped circles layer. Go to selections > select all. Selections > float. Selections > defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 74%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Go to selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard. Deselect (CTRL+D). Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 5.00. Delete the scalloped circles template layer.
Highlight the black rectangle layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 74%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 8.00. Delete the black rectangle template layer.
Highlight the 2 rectangles layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 74%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 5.00. Delete the 2 rectangles template layer.
Highlight the bracket layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 74%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 10.00. Delete the bracket template layer.
Highlight the frame fill layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 70%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Don't deselect yet!
Open up a rose of choice from the kit. Resize by 65%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Position to your liking within the selection. Hit delete on your keyboard. Deselect. GIve the rose a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 3.00. Delete the frame fill template layer.
Highlight the frame layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 70%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 70, Blur 4.00. Delete the frame template layer.
Open up a Heart Lock and Key of choice. Resize by 40%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 55, Blur 4.00. Duplicate the heart. Go to image > mirror. Position them to your liking or see my tag above.
Open up a bow of choice. Resize by 30%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 55, Blur 5.00. Position it to your liking.
Open up a flower deco of choice. Resize by 35%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 55, Blur 4.00. Duplicate the deco flower. Go to image > mirror. Position them to your liking.
Highlight your white background. Open up a jewel sticker of choice. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 5.00. Duplicate the heart. Go to image > mirror. Position them to your liking.
Highlight your white background again. Open up a paper from the kit. Don't resize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Apply the mask with the following settings:
Source Luminance
Fit to Layer.
Hide all mask.
Delete the mask, answer yes and merge the group. Go to effects > texture effects > weave. Apply with the following settings:
Apply FM Tile Tools Blend Emboss with the default settings.
Add any other embellishments of your choosing.
Crop and resize to your liking.
Highlight your top layer. Open up your tube. Resize as necessary, bicubic. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 11.00. Position to your liking.
Add your copyright info, watermark and your text. If you are not animating, then save as JPG or PNG.
If you are animating, highlight your rose layer. Grab your freehand selection tool, type point to point, feather set at 0.00. Carefully select around the petals area of the flower. Apply Constellation with the following settings:
Deselect. Copy merged. Open up Animation Shop. Paste as a new animation in AS.
Back to Paint Shop Pro. Go to edit > undo select none. Edit > undo constellation. Apply Constellation again, but this time hit the random seed button. Deselect. Copy merged. Paste after current frame in AS.
Repeat the above steps 2 more times for a total of 4 frames.
Optimize and save as gif.
