All I Want

This tutorial was written by me on 16 November 2008. Any similarities to other tutorials is purely coincidental.
Supplies Needed:
Tube of choice. I am using the fantastic artwork of Selina Fenech. I got this tube when CILM was still open. I don't know of anywhere you can get her work, so just use a tube you like instead.
Scrapkit. I used the adorable scrapkit Snowman Christmas by Silent Dreamer Designs. If you wish to purchase this scrapkit you can here Thank you Christy!

Red Sparkle animation
Font of choice. I used Scarlett Ribbons (pay font)
Animation Shop (opt)
Let's get started! Open up my template. Duplicate by holding down shift + d. Close the original. On the duplicated template, delete the credit info layer.
Highlight the bottom round rectangle layer. Go to selections > select all. Selections > float. Selections > defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 69%, smartsize. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. Go to selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard. Deselect. (CTRL+D) Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 7.00. Delete the bottom rounded rectangle template layer.
Highlight the top rounded rectangle layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up another paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 69%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Deselect. Delete the top rounded rectangle template layer.
Grab your magic wand tool. (tolerance 30, feather 0.00 Click inside the first circle opening. Open up a snowman of choice. Resize by 30%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Position the snowman in the selection to your liking. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Deselect. Give the snowman a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 5.00. Drag the snowman beneath the top rounded rectangle frame.
Repeat the same steps with the 2 remaing circle spaces.
Highlight the circle frames. Give them a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 5.00.
Highlight the scalloped circle. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 69%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Do NOT deselect.
Open up your tube. Resize if necessary, bicubic. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Position to your liking within the selections. Hit delete. Deselect. Give your tube a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 10.00. Lower the opacity of your tube to 92%.
Highlight the paper scalloped circle. Give it the same drop shadow you gave your tube. Delete the gray scalloped circle.
Open up a bow of choice. Resize by 30%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 5.00. Position it where the circle meets the frame (see my tag for reference)
Open up the bulb from the kit. Resize by 30%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it the same drop shadow as the bow. Position it on the right edge of the rectangle frame.
Open up the mitten from the kit. Resize by 30%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it the same drop shadow you gave your bulb. Position it on the left edge of the rectangle frame.
Open up the candle trio from the kit. Resize by 25%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 5.00. Center it at the bottom of the scalloped circle.
Open up the christmas group from the kit. Resize by 30%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 5.00. Position it on the left side of the scalloped circle. (see my tag for reference)
Open up the house from the kit. Resize by 20%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it the same drop shadow you gave your christmas group. Position it on the right side of the scalloped circle. (see my tag for reference)
Open up the bear from the kit. Resize by 15%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it the same drop shadow you gave your house. Position as in my tag above.
Open up the christmas box. Resize by 15%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 5.00. Position as in my tag above.
Open up the snow buddies from the kit. Resize by 15%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvasa. Give it the same drop shadow you gave your christmas box. Position it as in my tag above.
Highlight your white background. Open up the tree from the kit. Resize by 95%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give the tree a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 8.00. Duplicate the tree. Go to image > mirror. Position the trees so a little of it sticking out from behind scalloped circle. (see my tag for reference.)
Open up birdhouse 2 from the kit. Resize by 65%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it the same drop shadow you gave your tree. Position it so that the most of the top of it can be seen from behind the rectangle frame. (see my tag for reference)
Open up a candle from the kit. Resize by 20%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 5.00. Duplicate the candle and mirror. Position at both ends of the trees (see my tag for reference)
Open up a bow of choice. Resize by 20%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it the same drop shadow you gave your candle. Duplicate the bow and mirror. Position the bows on the candles.
Highlight your white background. Open up a paper of choice from the kit. Resize by 69%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Apply Vix's Christmas mask 9:

Fit to Layer
Hide all mask
Delete the mask from your layer palette. Answer yes to the popup box. Merge the group. Resize the mask by 50%, smartsize. Give it a drop shadow of H 1, V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 2.00. Duplicate the mask. Position to your liking.
Paste the paper as a new layer onto your canvas again. Resize the paper, 69%, smartsize. Apply Vix's Christmas Mask 5, same settings as before. Delete the mas, answer yes and merge the group. Resize the snowflake mask by 69%, smartsize. Give this mask layer the same drop shadow that you gave the other one. Duplicate the snowflake mask. Mirror. Position them to your liking.
Crop and resize to your liking.
Add your copyright info, watermark and text. If you are not animating, save as JPG or PNG.
If you are, merge all of your layers together. Copy. Open up animation shop. Paste as a new animation in AS.
Duplicate until you have a total of 8 frames. Select all frames (CTRL+A).
Open up the red sparkle animation. Select all frames (CTRL+A) Copy. Go to edit > paste into selected frame. Position the sparkle to your liking and left click your mouse. Repeat this steps as many times as you like.
Optimize and save as gif.
