This tutorial was written by me on 11 February 2009. Any similarities to other tutorials is purely coincidental.
Supplies Needed:
Tube of choice. I am using the awesome artwork of Eugene Rzhevskii. I bought this tube when he was still with MPT. You can find his art here now.
Scrapkit. I am using the awesome scrap Some Like it Hot by Scrappy Stuff by Essy. If you wish to purchase this kit, you can here. Thank you, Essy!!

Font of choice. I used A&S Puff Daddy Bold (pay font)

Ok! Let's get started! Open up my template. Duplicate by holding down shift + d. Close the original. Delete the credit info layer.
Highlight the doodles layer. Go to selections > select all. Selections > float. Selections > defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 80%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Go to selections > invert. Hit delete on your keyboard. Deselect. (CTRL+D) Give the doodles a drop shadow of H and V 1, Opacity 75, Blur 2.00 Delete the gray doodles layer.
Highlight the square fill layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 75%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Delete the gray sqaure fill layer.
Highlight the hearts brush layer. Select, float and defloat. Add a new raster layer. Floodfill your new layer with a color of choice. Deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 1, Opacity 75, Blur 2.00. Delete the white hearts brush layer.
Highlight the sqaure frame layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 75%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Deselect. Go to adjust > add/remove noise. Add noise with the following setting settings:
Random checked
Value set at 15
Monochrome unchecked
Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 80, Blur 7.00. Delete the black square frame.
Highlight the circles fill layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 80%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Don't deselect!
Open up your tube. Resize if necessary, bicubic. Paste onto your canvas. Position to your liking within one of the circles. Hit delete. Deselect. Give your tube a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 80, Blur 5.00. Duplicate your tube. Go to image > mirror. Position in the opposite circle. Delete the dark gray circle fill layer.
Highlight the circle frames. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 80%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete. Don't deselect.
Open up a wrap of choice. Resize by 10%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Position to the side of one of the circle frames. Grab your eraser tool, size 30, opacity 100. Erase the top part of the wrap that is hanging over the frame. Deselect. Give the wrap a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 3.00. Duplicate the wrap. Go to image > mirror. Position on the other circle (see my tag for reference)
Highlight the circle frames. Apply noise, same settings as before. Give the circle frames a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 75, Blur 6.00. Delete the gray circle frames layer.
Highlight the flowers layer. Select, float and defloat. Open up a paper from the kit. Resize by 80%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Selections > invert. Hit delete and deselect. Give the layer a drop shadow of H and V 1, Opacity 75, Blur 2.00. Delete the black flowers layer.
Open up a brad of choice. Resize by 10%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 60, Blur 3.00. Duplicate the brad. Go to image > mirror. Position over the top ends of the wraps.
Open up a flower from the kit. Resize by 15%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 3.00. Duplicate the flower 3 times for a total of 4. Position them to your liking on the frame.
Open up a bow from the kit. Resize by 15%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of h and V 0, Opacity 65, Blur 4.00. Duplicate the bow. Go to image > mirror. Position them to your liking on the frame.
Highlight your white background. Open up a ribbon heart from the kit. Resize by 20%, smartsize. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Apply Mura Meister Copies with the following settings:
Grab your magic wand tool, tolerance set at 0.00, feather set at 12.00. Click inside the empty spaces of the heart like this:
Add a new raster layer. Floodfill your new layer with the same color you used for the heart brush layer. Go to selections > invert. Hit delete 2x. Deselect. Drag the floodfill layer beneath your ribbon hearts layer. Apply a aaa textures with the following settings:
Go to effects > texture effects > weave. Apply with the following settings:
Highlight the encircled ribbon hearts layer. Give it a drop shadow of H 2, V -2, Opacity 60, Blur 3.00.
Add any other embellishments of your choosing.
Highlight your white background. Add a new raster layer. Floodfill with a bright color of choice. Apply GG_Mask 20 with the following settings:
Source Luminance
Fit to Canvas
Hide all mask
Delete the mask, answer yes and merge the group. Resize the mask by 90%, smartsize. Apply AAA textures, same settings as before.
Open up your tube. Resize if necessary, bicubic. Copy and paste onto your canvas. Give it a drop shadow of H 4, V 1, Opacity 70, Blur 11.00. Position to your liking.
Crop and resize to your liking.
Add your copyright info, watermark and your text. If you are not animating, then save as JPG or PNG.
If you are animating, highlight your hearts brush layer. Apply Constellation with the following settings:
Highlight your hearts ribbon fill layer. Apply Constellation, same settings. Copy merged. Open up Animation Shop. Paste as a new animation in AS.
Back to Paint Shop Pro. Go to edit > undo constellation. Edit > undo layer selection. Edit > undo constellation. Apply constellation again, but this time hit the random seed button. Highlight the hearts ribbon fill layer. Apply Constellation. Copy merged. Paste after your current frame in AS.
Repeat the above step 2 more times for a total of 4 frames.
Select all frames (CTRL+A) Change the frame properties to 12.
Optimize and save as gif.
